Most religions assume in faith that God’s truth is revealed to them through sacred texts, like the Koran, the Book of Mormon, the Bible, etc. However, faith alone cannot confirm the accuracy of any of these sources of information, so the possibility of errors is very high. As a matter of fact, the existence of so many different, contrasting religious doctrines worldwide really proves a lack of knowledge about God. If knowing God is the sign of a good relationship with him, then we just do not have a good relationship. If God is Truth, faith is not enough. In reality, most of our religious beliefs simply are self deception and fallacy, which we often accepted as children. But if the real God is Truth, then false information about him, counterfeit truths, distortions and lies will hinder our relationship with this God. Research also shows that the leading reasons for belonging to a specific religion are being raised as a child inside of it or being influenced by a family member into converting to it; hardly the ideal way to find the true God! If God really is the Truth, and we would like to maintain a good relationship with him, we should love and pursue truth in all of its forms. Therefore, we should validate all information for accuracy and abandon any false beliefs. Alfonso has a background in programming, electronics and electro-mechanical equipment repair, and a very solid general education with emphasis in technology and business. Since God's Truth goes far beyond religion, and it is present everywhere in his creation, all this knowledge served him well in the research, investigation, and writing of the book. He was born in the Catholic faith, but eventually realized that religion and God often were not the same thing. He has seen how religion influences each culture and their individual members, sometimes very negatively. Therefore, he was motivated to search for an alternative way to God, bypassing religion and faith. As an immigrant to the United States and world traveler, Alfonso has been exposed to many different cultures, allowing him to suggest in the book how the mind of God is reflected in each culture and society.
