Gun Lake Paintball and Hastings Paintball Open Play
Policies and Procedures Due to the irregular attendance at our weekly open plays during past seasons, we require a group of at least 5 people to have prepaid their entry fees for an open play to be scheduled. If you do not have the required 10 players for a private play, prepay for 5 open play entry fees for a specific date and we will advertise open play for that date and time. Players must be at least 10 years of age and all minors need parental consent on their waiver. All players will be combined and then split into fair teams for games on the woods courses and the speedball fields. During 2007, between 15 and 25 players typically showed up for a posted open play. Arrival: Please show up within 15 minutes of the posted start time. Prepayments for open play serve as a security deposit to guarantee at least 5 players and are non-refundable. Payment: We cannot process credit cards at the paintball field. We accept cash and checks. If you would like to pay with a credit card, please send payment online via Paypal.com to sales@hastingspaintball.com several days in advance of coming to play. If you are unfamiliar with paypal, send an e-mail to the above address requesting an invoice for whatever amount you wish to prepay. You can also pay by mail with a check to: Hastings Paintball 575 Indian Hills Drive Hastings, MI 49058 (be sure to mail at least 1 week in advance) Play: Your $25 Entry fee covers up to 4 hours of play. If you prepay, you will receive a discounted $20 Entry fee. The entry fee is the same whether you are renting equipment or bringing your own. Rentals include mask, gun, 100 rounds of paint and unlimited CO2 fills. Rental player must shoot paint purchased at GLPB. Players bringing their own equipment will receive unlimited CO2/Air fills and can shoot non-field paint as long as it passes our safety check. Paint: Field Paint Only for rental players. We sell paint for $50 per case. Players who bring their own equipment can bring their own paint. Please make this clear to your players so that they don’t go out and buy a bunch of paint and bring it to our field and expect to shoot it through rental equipment. Prepayment discounts: All prepayments must be received at least 5 business days in advance of your play date. If you prepay your entry fees, they are $20 each. If you pay the day of open play, the fee is $25. All prepayments are refundable up until 2 days before the open play. What to wear: Please do not wear shorts. We do our best to eliminate thorns, briars, etc, but we have many acres of fields. Prepare to shed layers of clothing, as you will become very warm crouching behind bunkers with your adrenaline pumping. Some paintballs will leave a slight stain especially on white clothing. It is a good idea to wear footwear with good ankle support. Please print and bring a signed waiver to the field with you.
