Personal Statement Instructions

• Respond to both prompts, using a maximum of 1,000 words total.

• Allocate the word count as desired. An applicant may wish to respond to one
prompt at greater length; we suggest the shorter answer be no less than 250 words.

• Stay within the word limit as anything over 1,000 will result in an error message.

•Do not compose your essay in the application.
The application will time-out after 30 minutes of
inactivity, and your work may be lost.

• Only use standard American English characters (the numbers 0 through 9 and the
  letters a through z) and symbols (! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + - = [ ] \ { } | ` ~ ; : ' " , < . > / ? )
found on a standard English keyboard.
