Fitting Instructions – Designed to be Retro fitted.
The Projector Caddy - is adjustable and designed to fit all makes of projector. The caddy consists of two interlocking brackets (Arms) constructed of two connecting channel, which are adjusted to fit the individual projector. The Ceiling Above the projector in the ceiling gap find an RSJ or Beam that you can form a loop with the cable around. Fit the loop generator onto the steel cable. Pass the pad lock end of the cable through the loop generator over the RSJ or beam then pass the cable pad lock end through the other hole in the loop generator. This will secure the cable to the RSJ or beam. Fitting the projector Caddy. THE CADDY MUST BE FITTED DIAGANOLLY. (Corner to corner) on the projector (SEE PHOTOS) The Projector Caddy interlocking brackets (Arms) are assembled to give the tightest fit on the projector. If necessary slide the brackets (Arms) apart slightly to align the holes in the interconnecting channels. Pass end of the securing steel cable through the aligned holes in the channel (Arms) and attach the (ABUS) padlock through the hole in the steel cable and lock closed. The padlock (ABUS) should be locked within the 2 interlocking brackets (arms) channels. Then adjust the hold down bolts to hold the projector firmly. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN OR MARK THE PROJECTOR. Then use the two cable ties to secure the cable to the pole and to take up any slack in the cable. THE CADDY MUST BE FITTED DIAGANOLLY either above or below the projector. ALWAYS ENSURE THAT THE PROJECTING LENS IS NOT COVERED BY THE ARMS The loop generator allows you to form a loop and anchor off the steel cable around a joist RSJ See Photo Right If there is no available Joist or RSJ available a Ceiling Plate can be used to secure the cable to the ceiling. Ceiling Plate comes complete with 4 rawl bolts
