As we wind down another fun-filled and successful camp season, it is also a time to reflect on how camping continues to change and yet remain the same. We continue to try and keep up with the future; however it is people and places that create memories and importance in our lives. When a camper says on Camper Counselor Day, “This was the best day of my life” or “Aunt Ellen how come camp is only in the summer?” it reaffirms just how important camp is in the lives of our children. Camp continues to give kids a world of good- it encourages wonder, promotes activity, invites questions and repeats traditions. We have come a long way since 1956 and throughout the decades our focus has remained constant: the smiles, the laughter, the friendships and safety of our campers. Our staff is priceless, Our parents are valuable, Our campers are treasures. ARROWHEAD is ageless! To everyone involved in our 2007 camp season- we thank you for continuing to make the traditions of ARROWHEAD DAY CAMP a success! OUR SUMMERS ARE ALWAYS GREAT……..ARROWHEAD IN 2008! Yours for better campingAunt Ellen Gilbert Uncle Howie Gilbert

JUNIOR CAMP It's hard to believe that this summer is almost over. Where did the time go? I think fondly of all of the fun times with each of the junior campers. I love when the Cubs all learned to wipe their faces after lunch so they could race to computers, the Squabs laughing when Uncle Mark called them the squible-squables and singing their “Mighty Squabies” song. The Parakeets being so happy that they won bunk inspection and Sport Logo prizes on the same day, while the Beavers were thrilled to ride the racetrack at big wheels. It was great to see the Penguins create a beautiful banner together in arts and crafts and to watch the Wolves race down the hill to see who could catch the largest fish at the lake. Of course I will never forget the Robins and their songs; they always volunteered to sing and dance for the entire Junior camp during lunch. Last but not least, the Mustangs had the best challenging games of soccer and ga-ga in the arena. Thanks so much to all of the counselors, junior counselors, and most of all campers for a fabulous summer of 2007. Aunt Sonya Korinth- Junior Camp Director INTERMEDIATE CAMP What a summer! Our Intermediate Camp has proved once again why we are the best camp at ARROWHEAD. At Soccer League the boys are participating in the Shrek the Third League and the competition could not be better. Team Prince Charming has taken the lead but Team Donkey is right on their heels. The girls are playing in the Happy Feet League and tearing up the field with Team Mumbles and Team Gloria playing well. The playoffs for both leagues will be very intense and nothing short of thrilling. With 2 weeks left we still have the ever popular Roadrunner Race and Scavenger Hunt. Get ready to end the summer on a great note as we kick it up one more notch! Uncle Brian Witt- Intermediate Camp Director SENIOR CAMP It has been a fantastic and most enjoyable summer at Camp Arrowhead for our campers. The weather has been great and allowed our campers to improve their skills with our expert instructors. Our leagues are up and running. Skill and luck play a role into who our champions are as new campers come and go at the four week mark. In the major Softball League there is an exciting four team race but who knows who will win the championship. There are also close races in the minor Softball League and all of our Newcomb Leagues. In the lunch time trivia, the Flyers are supreme with their all-around knowledge. Looking forward to a great time the rest of the summer and keep trying your best! Uncle Al Papsin- Senior Camp Director

CRAZY HAT DAY!!!!!
SPORTS LOGO DAY Eagles, Phillies, Blue Rocks, Wings & Kixx were all well represented on our annual Sports Logo Day. A variety of local soccer, baseball and dance teams were also shown with pride on numerous shirts and hats. The favorite player hands-down was Chase Utley. Overall bunk winners with the most sports teams shown were the Beavers and the Parakeets. ARROWHEAD 2007 Bunk Picture Update It was a terrific day back on Tuesday 7/10 when all Arrowheaders received their new Arrowhead t-shirts and brought their brightest smiles with them. We are currently developing all photographs. Watch your mail in mid-September, as all Arrowheaders will be receiving their 2007 8X10 glossy bunk picture. Here’s to memories in the making!
PROPER FOOTWEAR AT CAMP
We are informing all of our parents that sneakers and sneakers only are the appropriate footwear for your children to wear during our camp day. Any types of sandals, flip-flops, pool shoes etc. are not only inappropriate, but also dangerous. Our campers are engaged in various activities including running, jumping, climbing, etc. and sneakers are for these endeavors. Parents, we ask you to please follow our advice for the safety of your children. Thank you. SOMETHING SERIOUS- SOMETHING SWEET! Many campers at ARROWHEAD have severe food and bee sting allergies. Due to the increasing amount of campers who enjoy celebrating their birthdays at camp we have to be extra cautious. We are asking that treats be sent in for special occasions only. We are also insisting that all food of any kind be eaten inside the air-conditioned Mess Hall. This will enable us to monitor the bees, allergies and clean-up more safely. Thank you.

Whoa! There is a lot of bantering or should I say cantering down at the ARROWHEAD corral. Awards have already been distributed for the first four weekers and now we are trotting along into the end of camp. We are so proud of all the bunks and our riders who are working hard on rein handling, posting and saddle posture. Our horses, Pudge, Black Diamond, Moe, Gator and Snowman love the special feeding treats they receive after the ride. The Staff at Horses
HORSES
Here we are in another year of Marksmanship at Camp ARROWHEAD! The exciting news is our upgraded and improved rifles have been a fantastic hit with the Senior campers. Instead of pumping the rifle before shooting it’s now as simple as load, aim, and shoot! More time for precision, accuracy, and fun, so take aim and settle on the bull’s eye! The challenge is still there to be the top notch competitor in each bunk to hit the mark on the moveable silhouettes and the bright and bold sticky targets. As always, the number one priority is still safety so we make sure the campers follow the rules and tips of the instructors to ensure the success of the program. Good luck during the tournament competition! Uncle Harry and Uncle Bill
Marksmanship
It has been a very busy this summer in Pioneering. We have several new elements in our completely revamped low course as well as our ever popular high course. Although our primary concern is safety, we strive to keep as many campers busy on the course as possible so that everyone has a big smile when they leave us. Campers are constantly challenged to do more, go higher, and climb faster in order to better their skills and build self confidence. Although campers have stepped up to our many challenges, no one has yet completed the ultimate challenge. We are still waiting for a camper to completely spell out “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” while traveling down the giant zip line. Will your son/daughter be the first to meet the ultimate challenge? We can’t wait to find out. Thank you campers for the best summer job ever! Uncles Fred, Mark, Craig and Aunts Nicole, Kathleen, Rory, Rachel & JC Richelle

Suggestion Box
To continue the process we started over 19 summers ago, we at ARROWHEAD are inviting feedback from our staff, campers and parents to help ARROWHEAD become a better camp. This year’s implemented suggestions included: our new “like real” golf balls at Driving Range, new observation tower at Lake Arrowhead, our new rosters/schedule which included more Senior Clubs and 5 minute intervals between periods and our super popular, more flexible 5, 6 & 7 week enrollment sessions. This year’s upcoming improvements and additions will include newly upgraded PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT and our 2008 EARLY “PRICE FREEZE” TUITION (you spoke and we listened) and as always much, much more! Watch this space for further details and as always much, much more in our Winter ARROWHEADLINES: Please feel free to use both sides and return to: Arrowhead Day Camp 240 Dutton Mill Road West Chester, PA 19380

As you can see, our campers sure have been busy these past few weeks. Here’s just a sample of what’s been going on since our last edition.
BUNK NEWS GIRLS
SQUABS
As the Squabies march around camp singing the "Mighty, Mighty Squabies" song, everyone who hears them stops to notice the cutest and most spirited kids in camp! Our nine awesome girls continue to love their camp activities! OLIVIA SAKEL and ARIANNA MAMMUCARI fly down the zip line with screams of delight and huge grins on their faces! MADDI SEGARNICK is our Waterslide queen while SYDNEY ZUBATCH rules at Ga Ga! SOPHIE PEGG is becoming an amazing horseback rider and CAROLINE MILGRIM constantly amazes us with her dance and gymnastic skills! DARA BLEZNEK has mastered the art of fishing while ZOE MAZE loves hanging out in the boats in the middle of Lake Arrowhead! Finally, ALIZA SALL is our nature girl, loving all our cool outdoor explorations! All in all, we couldn't ask for a nicer, kinder or more spectacular group of girls! Yeah, Squabies!
PARAKEETS
The second half of the Parakeet’s summer is moving along very interesting. The girls enjoy the Friday afternoon shows from Magic by Poly to the funny and crazy clowns. The girls keep on showing us amazing things. LINDSAY EGGERT has had a blast at Mini Golf. She almost hit a hole in one! Down by the pool, EMMY GORBERG is swimming like a fish. We have many athletes in the Parakeets. Just to name a few, RACHEL GLIKSMAN is a great goalie at Soccer. She almost blocked all the balls. EMILY GOLDBERG shows us her awesome skills at Ga Ga. Our newest Parakeet, MAGGIE ROSOFF loves playing the game Trolls at Computers. HANNAH TRIESTER is a great player in musical hoops at Music & Dance. This has been an excellent summer! Have a great time in school girls- I hope to see you all next summer!
PENGUINS
The Penguins waddled into the second half of camp with the cleanest bunk at Arrowhead! The girls enjoyed popsicles during snack for winning the weekly bunk inspection. The Penguins bunk has two experts in Pioneering: NICOLE HYNES was my rock-climbing partner and made it to the top of the high wall, while KATIE RAYNES won a special prize for being the only Penguin to complete the twisting ladder course. AYLA BLEZNAK showed off her skills in the batting cages this week, and hit the most balls out of anyone! We also have some amazing horseback riders. GIANNA JACOBSON no longer needs a lead rope when riding her favorite horse, named "Gator," while REBECCA TOREN enjoys
11
steering her horse, "Pudge," all by herself. Down at Boating & Fishing, JENNY MARGOLIS and GERI KOHN were recently awarded with their fishing licenses and have already caught tons of fish! In the Music & Dance arena, SAMI WINAWER and AMANDA CLEMENS show off their dance moves for the up-coming dance recital. Our two nature lovers LINDSAY KEITH and CASSIDY LANDAU are always enthusiastic about the experiments and projects at Nature Study. In the pool, REMY GORBERG just swam her way up to a Goldfish, and passed the deep water test. She is encouraging our newest Penguin, MAGGIE MURPHY, who is looking forward to taking the deep water test, and going down the Waterslide as well. AUNT SLOANE and JCs JENNA and CODI are very proud of the Penguins, and look forward to the rest of the summer with this great group of girls.
ROBINS
This summer the Robins continuously pulled together as a team to have fun. At Nature, all of our teams successfully built a house to protect an egg from breaking during the egg drop. Some of the teams clever ideas included a parachute and a cotton ball cushion. Another team you can spot is JULIA GROSSINGER and LILY GORSSINGER paddling a canoe around the lake or waving to the rest of us from the look-out tower. On the Mini Golf course, group cheers can often be heard after MEGAN KING hits another hole in one, and when ZOE KAPLAN goes down the Waterslide so fast she flies across the driveway at the bottom! If you are having trouble finding SYDNEY NAGORSKY just look up at Pioneering to see her crossing the heebee jeebee and catwalk, or during free swim you can spot her teaching Aunt Jenn how to dive. Also at the pool is ADARE TAYLOR creating great games for us all to play during swim. It’s been a great summer for the Robins and we hope to see you all back next year!
AZTECS
Aunt Alayna and JC’s Dana and Viviana are honored to have such talented girls in their bunk this summer! MADELYN SAVITCH has demonstrated her Tennis skills on the court, hitting practically everything that came her way. At Horses, HANNAH GROSSMAN and LIZZIE PENNA can be seen galloping around the rink. LUCY JONES loves dancing and you can find her busting a move at Music & Dance. Down at the lake, ABBY DICHTER and ALEXANDER COYLE love to paddle around the lake and climb the Island Tower. The Aztecs have had a blast this summer making new friends and new memories at Camp Arrowhead.
HOPIS
The Hopis continue to have an amazing summer. ANNABELLE KEMPF, KATIE PHILLIPS, and SOPHIE SHACK all landed parts in the camp play. We are excited to see them perform at the end of the summer. In the pool, SYDNEY GOLDBERG is moving up through the swim groups like a champion. GRACE BITNER is dominating the Ga Ga court and ARIEL PICKER shows her inner artist in Arts & Crafts. In Soccer, CAROLINE COOPERSMITH and ANNA PERSICK are kicking their way to becoming young Mia Hams. SAMANTHA LOGO is the Hopis mountaineer at Pioneering and HANNAH TRUE is queen
12
of the lake at Boating & Fishing. The Hopis are having a blast and we hope to continue our fun for the rest of the summer.
INCAS
The Incas have had a really great summer! We have dominated in Ga Ga and shone brightly in Archery, Batting Cages and Boating & Fishing. SYDNEY AIBEL loves the Waterslide and SAMANTHA ROSOFF is a Mini Golf star, making the first hole-in-one for the Incas. ANNA CAPLEN has been catching fish like it’s her job! LEILA KATZ-BOYD is a pioneer in training- it’s hard to get her off the ―big-zip‖! JORDAN ROSENFELD is one of our best dodgeball players and it looks like she might have a future as a pitcher. JC’s Lexie and Mallory and I have had a wonderful time with the Incas this summer. See you in 2008!
MAYANS
The Mayans are continuing to have a great camp season! While they have enjoyed activities such as Crazy Hat Day, and Ga-Ga as a group, many of the Mayans shine individually. Down at Pioneering, one of the bunk’s favorite activities, SYDNEY TOWELL broke the camp ―catwalk‖ record, and BOBBI LEWIS and SAMANTHA BROTMAN climbed on the high ropes! NICOLE VITT and DEVON ELSE went down the small zipline while daredevils TAYLOR FEINMAN and SOPHIE BERGER went down the big zipline! At the lake, BRENDA DLUHY, DELANEY PETERMAN & TAYLOR SCHWARTS show off their fisherman skills along with ELISE BLACK, LAUREN IZENBERG, and OLIVIA YERGER, who each received their very own Arrowhead fishing license! The Mayans enjoy many other activities around camp as well. PAIGE SILVER, the Mayans computer expert, enjoys club days at computers where she knows how to play all of the games. Up at Horses, COLLEEN TRESSEL rides around the rink with great expertise. Counselors Morgan, Sarah, and Elisabeth are excited that they have such a talented and diverse group of girls!
SHAWNEES
The summer is flying by and the Shawnees are taking full advantage of everything Camp Arrowhead has to offer. During Pioneering GRACE JALBOOT went flying down the big zip line, and right down the hill CLAIRE BACH got a bulls-eye at archery. At the pool, VICTORIA ECKEL-FRESTA swam her way into the Catfish, and EMMA HOGAN, CALI HOLBER and EMILY PASCHALL passed their deep water tests on the first try. Taking a turn toward the artistic side, HEIDI FLIEGELMAN, RACHEL HUNN and MEGAN VERZELLA love spending time at Arts and Crafts, and are painting, beading, and gluing everything in sight. MACKENZIE MILES and KAITLYN UNGER love spending time at Horses, Mackenzie loves to ride Moe and Kaitlyn says her favorite horse is Pudge. ERIKA ZASLOW is our Ga Ga champ while SYDNEY ORLOFF is the overall athlete of the bunk. The rest of the summer will certainly be full of excitement for these fantastic Shawnees!!
13
DIAMONDS
The Diamonds are finishing their summer off with a bang. As MARA BLOOM, GILLIAN CHESTNUT, HALEIGH LAURITZEN and CAROLYN SPELLACY all ride away on their favorite horses into the green pastures the other girls focus more on the play. JONA LIEBERMAN, JOSIE LARKIN and STEPHANIE TABAS are the leading roles in the play this year. LINDSAY MITCHELL, CHLOE KORZEKWA, and ZOE GROSSINGER have that eagles eye at Marksmanship. For LILLIAN GOLDMAN, RACHEL GOLDSBOROUGH and TALIA ROSOFF they are swimming like real fish in their swim groups and moving up, up, up each day we go to swim. SAMANTHA DAUGHERTY has a sharp eye down at Archery while ANNA FAIGENBAUM has a creative hand at Arts & Crafts. WALLIS GRANT enjoys all the activities that ARROWHEAD has to offer. The arrival of AMIRA SIMON has been the perfect addition to the group! What a fabulous summer the Diamonds have had!
EMERALDS
The Emeralds have been continuing to be enthusiastic and adventurous in all the activities here at Arrowhead! DEIRDRE HOGAN and HANNAH GOLDMAN are the fishing pros of the bunk and usually catch multiple fish in one trip! SOPHIE ZEIDMAN & CASEY BITNER have been dancing their way to the stars at Music & Dance. On the hottest days, GABRIELLA DUNCAN and ALISSA GORSON-MARROW love cooling off by splashing around in the pools during swim! GABRIELLE KERBEL has a blast at every activity and is the next Monet at Arts & Crafts. Up at the stables, STEFANIE GORSON-MARROW and VICTORIA ALFRED-LEVOW are having a great time learning to ride their favorite horses. JESSICA LEHRER wasted no time in becoming a star on the Newcomb courts—look out for her serve! SARAH ALFRED-LEVOW and VICTORIA GIEDER jumped right into all the activities Arrowhead has to offer and are having an awesome time! The Emeralds are having an amazing summer and wish it would never end!
OPALS
It's a great summer to be an Opal at Arrowhead!! First, we'd like to welcome new Opals SAMANTHA DAVIS, JULIA MINKER, TALIA PRUSKY and ALYSSA JOINES to their first summer at Arrowhead! We are very excited to have them in our bunk. Here at camp, RACHEL FELDMAN, HANNAH TIPPERMAN and SARAH ZARSKY are proving to be wonderful equestrians during Horses. NICOLE SCHULMAN and MELISSA RUSH are showing their wonderful dancing skills at Music and Dance as the Opals prepare for the camp recital. EMILY BRAVERMAN, HALEY FURMAN and KRISTEN MANSFIELD are practicing hard and we can't wait to see them in Seussical Jr! JENNA OPPENHEIMER and ALEXIS ORIEL are great Ga Ga players and JANE GOLDSTEIN loves the zip line at Pioneering. MADDIE FELDMAN and SARAH RAIZEN are playing hard and showing great sportsmanship during Newcomb League, and JULIA WEINER and KATE LEVIN are making beautiful masterpieces at Senior Art! We are having a great time at camp!

PEARLS
The summer continues and goes on…and the Pearls are still having a ton of fun; EMILIA WEINBERG is the gymnast of the bunk while JULIA MARKS loves sports of all kinds and is full of energy and spunk. ZOE WEINER and SARAH LIPPMAN definitely have artistic ability and if you come check out the Driving Range, hitting golf balls is surely JENNA SPOONT’S specialty. Climbing up the rock wall at Pioneering takes enormous skill, but for JESSICA MEYER, JENNIFER SEIDMAN and JULIA SHREIBER it is fun, exciting, and such a thrill. Junior lifeguards, RANDI EPSTEIN and DEVON TOWELL are great with the guppies at Instructional Swim and helping out, and MARCELLA JACKSON has the best butterfly stroke- there is no doubt! ALEXANDRA BATER just loves the horses and would ride all day that is for sure; while VERONICA ECKEL-FRESTA takes the paddleboat out at boating with her friends around Lake Arrowhead for a tour. And also at the lake JENNIFER HECKMAN can be found trying to catch fish of all sorts; while SAMANTHA MORROW, CURRY RICHMAN and VICTORIA BRIER show off their skills on the Ga Ga courts. The Pearls are all unique and special in their own way, it will surely be sad to say good-bye on the last day!
SAPPHIRES The Sapphires would like to welcome ALI GRADY and JULIA MORRISON to our bunk. They both rock at softball! HELENA KAMINSKY and KATIE JALBOOT are doing an awesome job in gymnastics. JUDITH TUFT and LAUREN DZEDA are showing off their Archery skills, improving each day. AMANDA PLAVNER, JENNA GLASSMAN, JENNA WILSON, JORDAN LAPORTA and MEGAN MCCLATCHY are proving themselves leaders on the Newcomb League court. ALLISON KREIDER, LINDSAY DIGIOVANNI and EMILY PINCUS have made definite progress during Instructional Swim. EMILY GUO has an awesome camp attitude and is great at Pajumbo. I am lucky to have such a fun bunk!
BOYS
CUBS
The Cubbies have had a great summer and are not looking forward to the end of camp. NATHAN LAPAT, MATTHEW ROTH, AIDEN MCCARTHY, and CADE ROONEY had a thrilling summer as our very brave BIG-zip-liners at Pioneering. ANDREW ROSENBERG, KIERNAN DEVANE, CARSON RHODES, and JUSTIN LEBEAU became the Kings of the Waterslide – going down it again and again and again! JOSHUA BROWN and LEO SHACK really loved playing and learning in the pool twice a day. WILLIAM TREIMAN and ASHER HANCOCK became virtual seamen this summer at Boating and Fishing. CHRISTOPHER HENKEL joined right in with us for the last four weeks and had a blast especially at the pool.
15
BEAVERS
Aunt Jen and JC’s Pete and Michael are continuing to have a great summer with our Boppin’ Beavers. The Beavers amaze us everyday with trying new things and supporting each other. ADAM MOSKOW is leading the Beavers with the most hole in ones in Mini Golf and the best shoe tying teacher for all his Beaver friends. Way to go Adam! JACK TRIEMAN has a special talent with fishing and we also think he gives the fishes secret treats because he caught three in one fishing period. While over in Gym, ZEKE KELZ, MAX FELLHEIMER, and HENRY WOLFSON show their stuff with football and the obstacle courses. Good job boys! Finally, in the swim of things JOSH STEHLE has made a remarkable advancement from standing in the pool to completely swimming like the great fish that he is. Keep up the great work Boppin’ Beavers!
WOLVES
Boy, has it been an eventful summer with the Wolves! JACOB ZASLOW, CHRISTOPHER HOUDESHEL and CHRISTIAN JETER joined us for our last 4 weeks of fun, which were filled with excitement, including some rowdy dodgeball games, of which JACOB LEHMAN proved himself champion with some impressive outs. ERIC CHUD and WILLIAM HIMMELREICH profess to have learned a ton of about horses and are now expert riders and caretakers. Giddy up cowboys! Over the last 4 weeks, BLAKE MICKMAN showed his creativity in Arts & Crafts where he mixed colors and painted his crafts like a master. Meanwhile, our sports stars MICHAEL VENTURA, BENJAMIN SAMUEL and MATTHEW COHEN hit homers at the Batting Cages and stole bases like sneaky little foxes during Tball. Good-bye Wolves, ARROWHEAD will miss you! See you next year!
MUSTANGS
The Mustangs have really had a blast this summer. Aunt Danielle cannot believe that is coming to an end so quickly. Her Mustangs have made her very happy and proud. EVAN COHEN in his first week at Camp Arrowhead went down the zip lines and shot a couple of holes-in-one at mini-golf. Besides being the Ga-Ga champion several times, JESSE GROSS was fantastic when he was Aunt Danielle on Camper Counselor Day. ALEXANDER KRAUSS was shocked to find his friend from school, JACK MILES, in his Mustang bunk. He jumped right into the swing of things and went down the big zip-line his very first time at Pioneering. PATRICK McDERMOTT loves to swim and play games at Computers. His brother, RONAN McDERMOTT, was great being Uncle Brian on Camper Counselor Day. He and PARKER LAURITZEN were very brave when they went down the big zip-line. Parker also did an awesome job leading the Mustangs to their activities. JAKE SILVERSTEIN showed off his athletic ability all summer. He truly shone in the Batting Cages where he got to play his favorite sport of baseball. Aunt Danielle will be very sad to say goodbye to her wonderful Mustangs. GREAT JOB THIS SUMMER BOYS!
BRAVES
The Braves want to welcome newcomers RYAN BOOTH and BEN WAINFAN to our bunk. The summer is flying by as ZACH ALLON and TOMMY HOGAN are making great progress
16
at the pool. JONATHAN HYNES is showing signs that he make be a future baseball allstar the way he hits the ball at the batting cages. Not to be outdone on the soccer fields are SCOTT ROUNICK and JONATHAN KATZ. The nature scene is dominated by BENNETT VEDERMAN, the next Croc Hunter!! JUSTIN HEIDIG and JACOB EISEMAN are the ones to beat on the Gaga courts, and LUKE DITTON is a wonder at Newcomb. Uncle Mike and JCs Jon and Alex are enjoying the summer with this great bunch of Braves!
WARRIORS
The Warriors are continuing to have a wonderful summer at Camp Arrowhead. All the boys are in full swing. ALEX WAXMAN is a super-sized, super-slider at Waterslide. He holds the new distance record. EZRA KRUGER really likes Nature; he’s donated several insects from his personal collection to the Nature hut. Most recently he discovered a beautiful ―leaf-bug‖ on the ARROWHEAD grounds- good job! CHASE MENDELL is a slick fielder and has made numerous ―web-gems‖ on the baseball diamond- keep it up! Another superstar at baseball is BRETT RICHARDS. He has a smooth swing at the plate and can really hum the ball around the infield. EVAN PETCHON says golf is his thing at ARROWHEAD. He can’t decide between Mini Golf and the Driving Range- remember drive for show- putt for dough! Keep swinging! ZACHARY STEHLE is having the best summer ever- he says his favorite part is swimming in the deep end with Uncle Jim during free swim. Keep up your big arms Zach! ANDREW WHITIG is also making a splash at the pool. He’s made it up two swim groups this year- good job! JAKE STARR is our all-star at camp. He really is one of the best at all Warrior activities- great, great job! Lastly, JACK KEITH has earned the honored ―All Warrior Award‖ as presented by his counselors. Jack has demonstrated enthusiasm at camp, participation in all activities, and respect for his fellow campers. Way to go Jack- keep it up! That’s all the news for now……..
CHIEFS
The summer is winding down and it has been a great one at ARROWHEAD. COLE BERGER loves all of the activities at ARROWHEAD, he is one happy camper! JACK PEARSON loves to dribble and shoot at Basketball. Keep it up Jack! Dodgeball seems to get BRETT PODELL excited. He loves dodging that ball! Always having fun playing in the water is NOAH RUBIN who loves to swim. DREW BRISKIN enjoys learning new things at Nature. BRADLEY KAPLAN hit a homerun the last time the Chiefs played softball. Way to hit it Bradley! BENJAMIN RUBIN has some beautiful shots at Mini Golf. When the Ga Ga ball is flying, ADAM JUDKOWSKI is always having a blast! ZACHARY ALFRED-LEVOW is a great dodgeball player. Until next year- peace, love and soul!
NAVAHOS
Uncle David, Alex, and Rick are so happy to have such a great bunk of kids this summer in the Navahos. Softball instuction and games has made a huge impact on the Navahos. MICHAEL ATKINS, ALBERT BLEZNAK, JORDAN ENGEL, and JACK FEDER have continued to swing a hot bat and make great plays in the field. Down by the lake Nicholas Harris caught a fish and ZACHARY WEITZ and DAVID VONDERHEIDE have been

dominating the Ga-Ga courts. The Navahos were very happy to welcome 5 more campers for the last four weeks. GAVIN BECKER, DAVID GREENFIELD and IAN HENKEL have all impressed us at Marksmanship. SIMON PRUSHAN and MATTHEW SHEAFFER had great aim at Archery. This summer has gone by so fast and has been so much fun! I am going to miss the Navahos bunk. Have a great school year; hopefully I’ll see many of you back next summer. Thank you for such a wonderful summer boys!!
APACHES
The Apaches have continued their rockin’ start this summer. Justin Spoont and Dan Mitchell continue to do a great job as the bunk’s JC’s. The new Apaches have picked up right where the others have left off with EVAN RHODES, CAMERON METZGER and SAM GOLDMAN being world-class Ga Ga players. It’s been said that HARRISON COHEN, EHTAN SAMUEL and CHASE GORBERG have the ability to swim with the fish at swimming. With these new campers, the Apaches will have a super finish to this great 2007 season.
PIRATES
The Pirates are in the second part of the season and are off to the same hot start as they had in the first half. The glove and bat of ALEC FISHMAN will be a great addition to the Pirates bunk as they are always challenging the Eagles to baseball games. CALEB BEARD is a natural dead eye at both Marksmanship and Archery. At the pool, TEDDY MISCHEL has moved up to barracuda and may be on the fast track to catfish. On the Basketball courts, NOAH MENDELL looks more like Andre Iguodala, making us think that he should be in the Sixers! At Ga Ga, MAX MILLER is a force to be reckoned with. As always, Terry Korinth and Dylan Mark are spectacular JC’s. We wish the entire bunk good luck in the upcoming school year!
EAGLES
The Eagles kicked off the second half of the summer on fire! HUNTER JOSS may be the next Olympic swimmer down at the pool. MATTHEW CLOBES catches fish with ease down at the lake. ELI GREENBLATT and SAM KEITH are sailors down at the lake, navigating the waters in canoes and paddleboats. SAM KRUGER seems like he was born with a racket in his hand at the tennis courts. MATTHEW SCHETMAN is a sharpshooter at Marksmanship. JAKE MARGOLIS and HARRISON MAYO are all-stars down at Softball. This is Uncles Nick, Eric & Jordan signing off. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
PHILLIES
The Phillies continue their dominance at ARROWHEAD this summer. ETHAN HELLER, ELLIOT GROSS and WILLIAM KEITH have great baseball talent. BILL FRIS and LOUIS BROWN score touchdowns at will on the football field. Down at the pool, PAUL ADDONIZIO and CHARLIE BATTERSBY swim like dolphins and JAKE GREENFIELD is our sure shot at Marksmanship. DANIEL SCOTT is always excited to fish down at Lake Arrowhead. This bunk is ready for a playoff run!

FLYERS
The Flyers have had a great summer and it only looks like it’s going to get better. The bunk has proved itself on the baseball diamond with outstanding plays by EVAN RUBENSTEIN, ADAM SAMUEL, and STEVEN SILVERMAN. SEAN HEIDIG has been tearing it up at Team Handball. DYLAN COHEN & RYAN HEIDIG can usually be found navigating the lake and catching the fish. DIMANTHA ANDRAHENNADY and GREG CALHOUN look to be future NBA stars as they have shown great skills on the Basketball courts. ROBBIE VERNA has shown great expertise at the Archery range. ERIC DLUHY has proven to be one of the best athletes in the camp. MAX FISHMAN, TIM FRIS and JASON WYCKOFF have been great additions to the bunk. The summer of 2007 will surely go down as one of the best ever!
SIXERS
The Sixers started the second half of camp with continued excellent basketball competition. The Lakers and Jazz teams held the best records at the halfway point of camp, but with new 4 week campers the Suns and Spurs appear ready to improve their records. Basketball stand-outs include THATCHER BRUSILOW, JAKE HERGET, WILL TAYLOR, and TYLER YOUNGS. The Sixers continue to be the leaders of their respective teams in softball competition on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings. Sixers leading the way on the softball fields are KYLE EVANS, JAKE GOLDBERG, ZACH RICHMOND, JOEL PRUSHAN, JEFF LEHRER, ALEK KORZENIOWSKI, and ANDREW FELDMAN. Any opportunity at 'Boating and Fishing" finds DANE "Pillsy" CAFFREY, AARON DEFIORE, RICHIE GALLO, MATT WEINBERG, DAN THEBERGE, and GEORGE KEITH reeling in over-sized fish, capturing turtles, and taking the occasional swim in the lake. ZACH KRATCHMAN, MIKE DEAN, RYLAN KATZWHITE, JARED ORIEL, WILL RUSSO, and EVAN SCHWARTZ are Sixers who enjoy all activities including Football, Hockey, Volleyball, Marksmanship, Archery, and Ga-Ga. The Sixers traveled to Camp Kwebek and participated in softball and basketball competition. Rainy-day schedule provided an opportunity to travel to Devon Bowling Lanes and the Sixers promptly showed their ability to score strikes and pick up spares. The bunk hopes to make a trip to Green Lane Camp and compete in softball and basketball competition there. JC Zach Cetlin continues to model sportsmanship and works with every camper in the bunk to ensure all Sixers participate in the many activities Camp Arrowhead has to offer. As camp winds down with the "water and land" carnivals, the Sixers bunk has proven to be great group this year.
