FOR SALE V o l v o O c e a n 6 0 – SWE 20002, JMS Mediasystem The boat was built 1997 and has been involved in much. Originally she sailed under British flag in the last Whitbread 1997-1998. Silk Cut won one leg and ended up as fifth, after breaking the world record for keelboats. She sailed 417,2 nautical miles in twenty four hours. After the race she was bought up by Team SEB and used as a training platform for their campaign in the Volvo Ocean Race 2001-2002. In our direction we have kept her to participate in offshore racing. We have been racing in the Volvo Baltic Race twice. It's a smaller sister to the Volvo Ocean Race with a professional standard on boats and crews. The first year we were representing Elanders and Ten Celcius. Skippered By the Olympian Hans Wallen and the Whitbread and Volvo Ocean sailor Michael Lund. JMS Next Generation was a cooperation between us, our main sponsor JMS and a Norwegian youth campaign 2004. To be able to race on highest level the boat has been well maintained and is now in perfect condition for racing, teambuilding or other extreme projects.
