CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER                                                                         2012
The company had experienced growth of 15%-20% per year for the past several years and had
outgrown their existing management expertise. The company safety record was declining. Like
many entrepreneurs, the President/CEO was more inclined toward sales and created the COO
position on a trial basis to bring stronger management to the company.
Hired on a trial, contract basis to manage day-to-day business activities. Oversaw administration of
projects and job sites in multiple states. Led company’s 350 employees with $60M P&L responsibility
       Defined core values and opened communication by providing training to all staff which created
       more participation in weekly staff meetings and providing a forum for feedback from field
       employees.
       Promoted an employee to a new training position and implemented on-going safety training which
       reduced injuries.
Invest US EB-5 Regional Center, Golden, CO- EB-5 Regional Center which solicits foreign investors
for US commercial projects.

The owner of the regional center also owns a large build-to-suit construction company with
projects nation-wide. He needed a CEO with strong financial experience and the expertise to take
the regional center to the next level.
Startup organization in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah to promote investment in US businesses by
overseas investors in exchange for EB-5 visas. Established infrastructure, developed industry contacts,
created business plans, legal documents and marketing collateral. Built network of investment brokers.
       Generated +$22M from foreign investors for construction of retail/office and industrial projects.
       Operations tabled due to increased governmental red tape surrounding the issuance of visas.

       one of the top 5 performing regions in the entire company.


Community First National Bank, Fargo, ND – $6+ billion regional bank with 2000 employees and
branches in 9 states.

Retained in acquisition of Bank One. Challenged to manage a new, 3-bank region. Two banks
were underperforming.
Tasked to expand portfolio. Identified market with no existing business. Networked personal contacts,
building referral base. Became “go to” choice for financing commercial properties and high-end homes

       As President, led Montrose to one of the top 3 performing banks in the company.
       As Area Manager, Gunnison and Crested Butte’s performance was in the bottom of the company.
