MONTEREY, CA - The Monterey Peninsula College Theatre Department is pleased to celebrate the
release of “Morgan by Morgan” by Morgan Stock, with a book signing and reception. The community
is invited to join us Saturday, June 14th 2008, at 2:00 PM for this very special event.

From his first performance at Age 6 in a one-room school house, followed by a starring role as Willy

Wargle in “Spooky Towers” at the Welsh Hills Grange, Morgan knew his life was the theatre. Follow

the career of this charming man as he left the family farm in Ohio to go to Hollywood, to the

Pasadena Playhouse, to Broadway (and back) and to his 27 years experiences as chair of the drama

department of Monterey Peninsula College. For Morgan, the play is the thing and he should

know…he’s directed 92 of them.



There is no more fitting place to celebrate this auspicious occasion then here, on the Morgan Stock

Stage. The Stage was dedicated in 1999, to honor our friend Morgan’s Life in the Theatre. 25% of

the proceeds from this book signing will benefit the Theatre Arts Endowment Fund.
