Modern editions of Black’s have dropped many of the older terms, especially from the English feudal law,
which are included in these original publications. These early editions also include a focus on legal Latin and
legal French as well as words and phrases from Scottish and Welsh law that have been dropped from later

                        First in this set is an extremely rare 115-year-old FIRST EDITION (1891) in excellent
                        condition. With the exception of very light soiling on the exterior and minimal pencil
                        marks on the front board, it would be described as “fine” or “near mint’ despite its age.
                        It has a beautiful ribbed-leather binding, pristine pages, bright and clear text, and no
