 Responsibility

 Camp Commander    The operation of inmate canteens, handicraft programs,
                   library, mail, visiting, volunteers, manuscripts, legal
                   documents, and personal property in each conservation
                   camp will be in accordance with the CDC Director's Rules
                   contained in Title 15, California Code of Regulations.

 CLOTHING                                                                6439.1

 Responsibility
                   A clothing allotment has been established to properly clothe
 Camp Commander
                   each inmate in the camp program. Inmate clothing will be,
                   for the most part, restricted to the items listed in the CDC
                   DOM Section 51130.22; Section 54090.

                   Special, or safety, clothing required for inmate crews will be
                   retained on the Crew Carrying Vehicles for emergencies.
                   DOM Section 51130.30, and this Handbook Section,
                   6565.1.

 Responsibility

                   The Camp Commander may, after consultation with the
 Camp Commander    Division Chief, establish an inmate handicraft program. If
                   established, or existing, the program will be detailed in an
                   Operational Guideline. (See Handbook Sections 6411-
                   6414), DOM Sections 51130.25.5; 53080 through
                   53080.20.6

                   In addition to items required for the Operational Guideline,
                   as detailed in Section 6414, the Camp Commander will
                   include procedures that ensure compliance with other
                   conservation camp activity standards, such as CDC
                   regulations, knife and tool control, and the Injury and the
                   Illness Prevention Plan.
