NATIONAL ALZHEIMER’S DISEASE AWARENESS MONTH
In 1983 November was designated as the National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Month. The main purpose of the month is to increase awareness of both the disease and the steps that are being taken to advance research and help patients and their families. LOCAL AUTHOR BOOK RELEASE
The Beauregard Parish Library is pleased to announce a special book release party for local favorite Curt Iles on November 12, 2009 from 4:00 until 6:00pm. According to Mr. Iles, a large portion of his new release was penned within the Beauregard Parish Library. The entire community is invited to join us in celebrating his work. Mr. Iles will be at the Library signing copies of A Good Place and fielding questions from the audience. Please join us for this exciting event. Refreshments will be served.
