VOLUNTEER RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY
READ THIS CAREFULLY. THIS IS A LEGAL DOCUMENT THAT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS. In consideration of being permitted to participate as a Volunteer, this Volunteer Release and Waiver of Liability (the “Release”) is executed on this ____ day of _________, ________ by (the “Volunteer”) in favor of People to People International, Inc., a nonprofit corporation, its divisions, programs, officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, attorneys, attorneys-in-fact and sponsors (hereafter collectively “PTPI”).
1. I, the Volunteer would like to participate as a Volunteer for People to People International, Inc., its divisions and programs without compensation and without any expectation of compensation or insurance coverage. I, the Volunteer, release PTPI from any and all liability which may arise from my volunteer activities for PTPI. I, the Volunteer, understand and acknowledge that this Release discharges PTPI from any liability or claim that I may have against PTPI, with respect to bodily injury, personal injury, illness, death, or property damage that may result from volunteer participation with PTPI. I, the Volunteer, understand that I expressly waive any and all claims for compensation or liability on the part of PTPI or NT Reality (landlord: 1828 Swift, Ste:203, N.K.C., MO 64116) in the event of any injury, medical expense or property loss. I, the Volunteer, hereby release and forever discharge PTPI for any claim whatsoever which arises on account of any first-aid treatment or other medical services rendered by PTPI in connection with an emergency during my volunteer work for PTPI. I, the Volunteer, understand that my work and services with PTPI may include activities that may be dangerous or hazardous to me. As the Volunteer, I hereby expressly assume the risk of injury or harm in these activities and release PTPI. I, the Volunteer, grant and convey unto PTPI all right, title, and interest in, and the right to use, any and all photographic images and video or audio recordings made by PTPI during my volunteer activities with PTPI. I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns, agree to defend and indemnify PTPI against all actions, claims, suits, demands, damages, liability and expense, including attorney’s fees, arising from any claim for injury or damages I may make against PTPI. This Release shall be governed by Missouri law. Any provision which may be held to be invalid shall not affect the enforceability of the remainder of the Release. I do also, by my signature, grant the same waiver to NT Reality (landlord:1828 Swift, Ste:203, N.K.C., MO 64116) and its owner(s) and employees .
