Dear Early Care and Education Community,

As many of you are already aware, the S*CCEEDS Program ended effective
March 1, 2009. As a result, many of you have lots of questions. Here are some
of the questions we have received so far:

     Question: Since the S*CCEEDS Program has closed, does this mean                           SPRING 2009
     that there are no more trainings?
     Answer: There will still be trainings offered, but you will no longer need to         APRIL, MAY, JUNE
     obtain a barcode from the trainer. You should continue to receive a training
     certificate which you will need to keep and provide as proof for DES and/or
                                                                                              CONFERRENCES/
     DHS Licensing that you have obtained your clock hours for the year. Be

     Question: Will there still be a Bulletin?
     Answer: Yes! There will still be quarterly Bulletins. And if you are an               COMMUNITY TRAININGS
     active registered provider, DES-certified provider, or child care center, you

    Como muchos de ustedes ya se han enterado, el programa S*CCEEDS ha finalizado, efecto el 1ro de
    Marzo, 2009. Como resultado, ustedes han de tener preguntas. A continuación, algunas preguntas que
    hemos recibido son:

        Pregunta: Ya que el programa de S*CEEDS ha cerrado, ¿significa que ya no habrá
        entrenamientos?
        Respuesta: Aun se ofrecerán entrenamientos, pero ya no recibirá el código de barra del entrenador.
        Pero recibirá un certificado de entrenamiento, el cual deberá de mantener como prueba para DES
        y/o DHS, de que usted ha obtenido horas de entrenamiento durante el año. Asegúrese de pedir al
        entrenador su certificado.

        Pregunta: ¿Aun habrá Boletín?
        Respuesta: ¡Si! Aun habrá Boletín Trimestral. Si usted es un proveedor registrado activo, proveedor
        certificado por DES, o guardería de cuidado de niños, usted continuará recibiendo estos Boletines
        automáticamente. Si usted no es ninguno de estos proveedores, pero estaba registrado con el
        programa de S*CCEEDS, deberá llenar la forma adjunta a la ultima pagina y enviarla para agregar
        su nombre a la lista de envío de CCR&R, y así recibir el Boletín.

        Pregunta: Ya no hay registración adjunta a este Boletín, ¿como me registro para los
        entrenamientos?
