Pratap Shah, emperor of Tehri Garhwal has contructed this holy shrine at
Yamunotri. There are three hot spring at nearby the shrine of them Surya Kund is
most famous. At here you will get the boiled rice and potatoes which are made in
Surya kund in “Parsad”. After from here you will proceed to Gangotri which is
devoted to the goddess Gangotri is located at the source of the Holy Ganga River.
The source of the Ganga River is known as the Bhagirathi and get acquired the
name of Ganga from Devprayag. This river is get meet Alaknanda onwards. The
origin of the holy Ganga is at the Gaumukh which visited by the thousands of
