Pulse Energy: Energy Intelligence for FortisBC Customers

Canadian utility’s new EnerTracker program offering Pulse Energy software to qualifying
organizations.

Vancouver, B.C., Canada, February 18, 2013 --(PR.com)-- Pulse Energy, the world leader in energy
intelligence software (EIS) for utilities to serve their commercial customers, announced its first live
accounts in FortisBC's newest commercial efficiency program, EnerTracker.[1] This initiative, the widest
deployment of EIS for natural gas users in Canada, will help users reduce energy waste by giving them
unprecedented insight into their energy consumption.

“FortisBC is pleased to be working together with Pulse Energy to deliver the EnerTracker program to our
natural gas commercial customers,” said Ramsay Cook, program manager, FortisBC. “We're confident
that Pulse has the expertise to help offer our customers a valuable service to monitor their energy use and
maximize their efficiency.”

EnerTracker will help organizations such as hospitals, hotels and restaurants to discover costly
inefficiencies such as equipment left running, improper maintenance and duct leaks. Natural gas
customers in BC already using Pulse Energy's EIS have reduced their energy consumption by up to 18%.

FortisBC's natural gas customers join thousands of Pulse™ users across North America, including
FortisBC's electric customers under the Building Optimization program. Visit the EnerTracker
microsite[2] to learn about the program and sign up.
