          In each section below, the number in <brackets> is the maximum score possible. A less than maximum score in any
category indicates more detailed information was required.

HEADING & FORMAT
_____ Follow business letter format. Pay strict attention to spacing, margins, font sizes, and so on. Be sure addresses include all parts.
       Include date and colon in proper places. Don’t indent paragraphs. Use single-spacing for paragraphs and an extra line at the end of
       each paragraph. <10max>
OPENING PARAGRAPH
____ Open with a hook (some way to establish a connection with reader or gain credibility). <5 pts for in-depth, thorough description; 3 for
       adequate but not thorough; 2 for minimal depth; 0 for missing or insufficient detail>
