							Talk on Sports Injury in Hiking

     The talk on Sports Injury in Hiking organized by Expeditions Instructors Central Registration Unit was
successfully held on 2nd November 2007, Friday at The Multi Purpose Hall, The Hong Kong Girl Guides
Association. It was a great pleasure to invite Mr. Liu Ka Kit, Project Supervisor of the Hong Kong
Physiotherapy Support Network to be our guest speaker. The talk attracted nearly 160 Instructors and Assessors
from different Operating Authorities. During the talk, Mr. Liu introduced the structure of human body and
explained the common sports injury. After that, Mr. Liu demonstrated basic bandaging techniques to the
participants. Through Mr. Liu’s professional sharing, all participants treasured the opportunity to learn more
about sport injury and enjoyed a fruitful evening.
