We have set up this information back and checklist so you can begin to think about your website, how you want it to look, what it contains and how it will be found.
Website Design
We will create a 5 page website which will include text and up to 5 images per page. Please complete the title of the pages you would like to see in your website Page 1. Home Page 2. Your Choice 3. For pages 2, 3 & 4, depending upon your business, you may wish to include a page of testimonials details of a particular treatment i.e. What is Hypnotherapy / Endermologie details of a specialisation i.e. Anti Aging / Face / Body on training or special offers etc We recommend a Horizontal Navigation Bar Design for this package. Please have a look at the Web Design pages for examples of layouts. The template structures are fixed but the colours, images etc are customisable to your business. We recommend that you have at least one image on each page. If you don’t have any images we can select some for you. You might also wish to include logos of the brands of products you use.
If you do not have your own images you can also select them from our image library on our website www.blbcunlimited.co.uk within the Client Services area. Simply write down the number of the image that you would like to use and add it to the page of contents. (see What we need from you?)

Once you have confirmed you would like us to proceed, we will set up your Full Webpage listing. We can either set up the account for you and then you add your details online, or you can complete an application form and send it to us by email or post. Set up the account / Send an Application Form
Website Hosting
We will host the website for the first year as part of the package and for the 2nd year for £50 (inc vat) if you wish us to continue hosting your website. If not you will own the website design and it can be transferred where you request. (this assumes all outstanding payments are made). Web hosting is where your website will sit and can be accessed via the world wide web.
Website Address / Domain Name

We will need to either transfer the website address to our host server or have the ‘name servers redirected to our host server which is 1and1. If you are the registered owner of the website address, you should contact the company who you registered it with and ask then to have the name servers changed to: ns45.1and1.co.uk and ns46.1and1.co.uk . If you are not the registered owner, someone has registered it on your behalf, we recommend you have the website address transferred to us. You will however remain the owner of the website address and a confirmation letter of this will be sent to you. Once you give us permission we will begin the transfer from our end. You will need to contact the company who your web address is currently registered with. They should be able to move the domain name easily to 1and1.co.uk by changing the IPS tag. IPS TAG = This is basically the Name of the company who registered the domain for you e.g. the 1and1 IPS Tag is SCHLUND. Please give them this tag (SCHLUND) and our company name BLBC Limited.

You can search and see if the name is available on the website www.oneandone.co.uk One .co.uk address is included in the package. If you would prefer a .com, .net or other ending (if the .co.uk is not available) there will be an additional cost of between £5-£20 per year. If you do not know what you would like or aren’t able to search to see if it is available, just tell us your business name and maybe a few variations on that name that you might like i.e. BeautyEssentials.co.uk could be beauty-essentials.co.uk or BeautyEssentialsFulham.co.uk
Email Address
As your website / domain will be hosted with us, we can also set up an email address which corresponds to your website address if you like i.e. info@yourwebsite.co.uk. We can set this up so it redirects all emails to your personal email address or you can check them online through the 1and1.co.uk website Webmail. Website Optimisation & URL Registration
The website will be built with web optimisation techniques incorporated into the design i.e. meta-tags being entered into each page. Once the website is complete, the URL (website address) will be submitted to all of the major search engines (Google, Yahoo etc) so they may index it (find it and your content) and your website will come up in the natural search positions. The Natural Search Positions or Natural Listings are the links that you see on the left hand side when you search on Google. The Adverts/Sponsored Links that appear at the top (usually 2-3) and on the right hand side are positions you can pay for with Search Marketing. See our section further on Search Marketing. You can only do as much as you can to try to improve your Natural Listings position i.e. to get to the top of the first page but with Search Marketing you can pay to get there. Please be aware that it can take from 8-12 weeks for the search engines to find your site through web optimisation and for it to appear in the Natural Listings. For the meta-tags and submission of your URL, website address, we would like you to think of a title, brief description and ‘key words’ for your site. We can help with this but please give us an indication of what you believe makes you stand out. This includes the specialist treatments, your location etc. For example

Additional Options
Additional Pages If you would like additional pages than the 5 included in the package, they can be added for an additional price of £25 for a simple page of text & images. For more complicated pages, including product pages please contact us for a quote. Updates / Changes We build into the cost of development 2 rounds of changes for the design/look of the website and 2 rounds of changes to the content of the pages. This is usually enough when you are able to send through most of the information at one time. If you require additional changes or want to add/remove information in the future, most changes will be quick and are charged at £10 per ½ hour (min). Shopping Baskets If you would like to add a shopping basket to one of your pages, we can do that for £50 (inc vat). This would involve simply incorporating a shopping basket into the current page against up to 5 products. It would also include setting up the PayPal account so you can accept payment by credit/debit card. For additional products please contact us for a quote. Search Marketing / Sponsored Link Campaign – How to getting yourself seen on Google, Yahoo etc To help people find your website once it is finished, we recommend that you set up a simple Search Marketing Campaign – with Google Adwords and/or Yahoo Search Marketing. The website optimisation explained earlier will help with Natural Listings but the Search Marketing
This involves identifying words that people would enter into a search engine website, like Google, when they are looking for services like yours in their area. This would be like, Ayurveda Fulham, Ayurveda massage oils – and when someone enters these terms, your text ‘Advert’ or ‘Sponsored Link’ will come up down the right hand side under the sponsored links. It will cost a different amount for each word or set of words like Avurveda Fulham (from 10p per click on your advert ++), and the more you are prepared to pay, the more chance you have of being in the top spot. You don’t pay anything unless someone clicks on your Sponsored Link Advert and comes to your website. With these campaigns, you can set a daily or monthly limit as to how much you wish to spend and you do not pay for anything unless someone clicks on your advert and comes to your website. To set up a campaign with 20 words would cost £30 (inc vat) plus the amount you wish to spend in a month and this includes the first month’s monitoring of the account. During this first month we would tweak and change the words to make sure you get the best results. The search marketing campaigns are set up against a credit / debit card of yours and you are billed directly. After this first month, you can manage the account yourself or we can do it for you at an admin fee of 10% of your budget per month (minimum £5 per month).
What we require from you to proceed
For us to begin, we will need you to complete the checklist so we understand your requirements clearly from the start of the project. Please complete and return to us as soon as you are ready to proceed with as much of the information as you can complete. We are here to help guide you through this so please call and ask us if you need any assistance. We prefer you email it to us at info@blbcunlimited.co.uk or you can post it to the address on the first page. Deposit Required To confirm that you wish to proceed, we require a £125 deposit. The final £125 will be payable when the project is complete and the website is live. You can make this deposit by either cheque made payable to BLBC Limited or we can send you an invoice which you can pay online via credit / debit card via PayPal. VAT is included in the £250. Cheque Enclosed / Please Send an Invoice Content for each page We will need you to provide us with the content of each page or as much information as you have for your business. We can give you some guidance and advise you of any changes that might improve it, but you know your business best so we ask you to do this to begin with. This should contain; the name of the page, all of the text / words you want to include on the page, the images/image numbers and an indication of the way you would like the page laid out if you have an idea yourself. We prefer that you send it to us via email so we won’t need to retype it but you can also send us brochures, photos, logos etc by post. If you can send it by email it will reduce the amount of typing mistakes that could be made.
