ASACS INHA UNIVERSITY CATHOLIC KOREAN MEDICAL SCHOOL OPHTHALMOLOGISTS ASSOCIATION 2012 KCCS Whole Body Fresh Cadaver Workshop for the Asian Cosmetic Surgery Seoul St. Mary’s Hospital of Catholic Medical School, Seoul, South Korea Title 2012 KCCS Asian Cadaver workshop for Cosmetic surgery Greeting Dear Colleagues, The Korean College of Cosmetic Surgery, in conjunction with Asian Society of Asian Cosmetic Surgery, In-Ha ophthal mol ogy University Medical School, Catholic University Medical School, Department of Ophthalmology and Applied Anatomy, Seoul Society of Korean Ophthalmologist Association is holding the Fresh Cadaver Workshop for Cosmetic Surgeons at the Catholic University Medical School and live surgery demonstration in Seoul, South Korea. Aims of this cadaver workshop are to educate the cosmetic surgeons about the intimate knowledge of the basic and surgical anatomy, and for the participants to practice cosmetic surgical procedures on fresh cadaver under the direct supervision of experienced cosmetic surgeons. The best part of this workshop is that the participants will be able to practice cosmetic surgery on ‘fresh cadaver’ whose state is very similar to live human tissue. And live surgery demonstration after cadaver workshop will also help the participants to have a real sense of realism and increase the practical abilities in the cosmetic surgery procedures. All supervisors are well renowned cosmetic surgeons and most of them are the fellows and professors of the KCCS. They will devote their undivided attention to the enhancement of the participants’ anatomical knowledge and also will take you through the common cosmetic surgical procedures that are outlined in the program. This will be in the form of lectures, cadaver surgery demonstrations, cadaver dissection practice. The participants will be able to attend these programs in person or with the technical help of the supervisor and observe or participate in the surgery as an assistant in the live surgery demonstration. “Understanding of anatomy is of fundamental importance in Cosmetic surgery. Therefore practicing cosmetic surgical procedures on ‘fresh cadaver’ and having an experience of live surgery right after cadaver workshop is of a paramount importance.” This will be a golden opportunity to enhance your cosmetic surgical knowledge and skills. We hope you can join us and have a great experience with many brilliant professionals.
