Requesting any USDA or APHIS analysis and any 4/3/2012 correspondence to the USDA (including emails) from any beef industry groups or the chairs of the House and Senate agriculture committees, regarding an April 2011, study by the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), which found that 47 percent of meat and poultry samples contained Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. In addition, the requester is requesting all correspondence to the USDA (including emails) from those same sources regarding proposed legislation regulating antibiotic use in farm animals that resulted from the publication of the TGen study, including H.R. 965, introduced last year by Rep.
