 Facts

The Internet has a large number of info graphics
covering a multitude of fields. It covers such subjects
like Science, Engineering, Society and Culture. It is
important that we understand these subjects well and
ensure that the infographics that we create are
delivering the intended messages to the people.

It is wise to be simple

It is important to be simple in infographics. The
messages that are being conveyed should be precise and
clear. It should be organized in a proper manner. Simple
data visualization is the key to ensure that the audience
will be able to understand the infographic easily and
without ambiguity.
All Causes have an Effect

It is a good way to depict a cause and effect
relationship. If we consider recent happenings like the
recession in the US, it was infographics which depicted
the issue clearly and in a concise fashion. It was easy
for even an ordinary person say in Asia to understand
what a subprime is and how subprime lending industry
issues triggered the chain of events which eventually
had an impact on world economy. Infographics help
spread messages effectively which in turn helps people
voice their opinions.

Know Your Limits

It is important to be clear on the scope and limit of the
information that you have, and draw the lines
accordingly. The average attention span that users have
is not on the rise .Hence your questions need to be
defined carefully, being sure that you would answer it
in the best way that you can. Datavisualizationthat you
create shall much effectiveness and imagination that
way.
Using Color to think

Color, the tool which is most effective, using which the
infographic artists provide guidance and influence to
thereaders should be judiciously used. It can provide
readers a wide range of impressions, both
emotionalandconceptual. Selectingcolors that would
enhancethe information you want delivered is a very
crucial aspect that graphic design has. Itmakes
informationthat you provided more legible, determining
the hierarchy that visual information has. It is said ,
‘Contrast is king’. Hence backgroundcolor should go
well with illustrations.

Layout concerns more than Typography

Infographic artists must experiment with different
combinations of illustrations, typography,charts,
images, iconsand diagrams, and implement an exciting
style in design creation. To create an exotic design, you
may need to utilise two to three fonts in designs that
you create. Insert logo if the concerned info graphic is
related with an institution or a company.
Make It Appealing to the eye

Online articles online where you need to click a word
link to view relevant graphics can be quite annoying.
You should design the graphics in such a way so that it
can be viewed at par with the articles. Check out
whether viewers need to click on the image in order to
see a version that has high-resolution. However, they
must first be able to see the image apartfrom the article,
if its relevance has to be better understood
Check Verifiability

Datavisualizationsmust be trustworthy, and allow
readers dig deep down into the field of data if desired
by the reader. Citations in your source of data with
links that are relevant is a must. Some articles enable
