A new contract relies on Hood Tech optical and infrared imagers for
intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) night and day.

Hood River, OR, United States, February 15, 2013 -- A new contract relies
on Hood Tech optical and infrared imagers for intelligence, surveillance,
and reconnaissance (ISR) night and day.

A new contract for intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR)
will call on Hood Tech imaging systems for both day and night video of
the underlying landscape

imagers) can fly for as long as 24 hours between refueling…” and carries
“electro-optic (EO) or long-wave infrared (LWIR) imaging sensors” or “a
mid-wave infrared imager for daylight-quality infrared imagery”.
Moreover, a “dual spectrum payload featuring MWIR and EO cameras in one
‘gimbaled and inertially stabilized’ turret is in field trials” (and now
in production as well). Hood Tech imagers are rightly expected to perform
at the highest level. “We have full confidence, based on years of
previous experience, that our imaging systems will enhance the
performance of the aircraft for this new effort”, said Lars Bergstrom,
Chief Operations Officer for Hood Tech Vision.
