1.     UNCLASSIFIED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. 3073 – TIME EXTENSION
       filed by AQUARIUS AQUARIUM INSTITUTE proposing to grant a one-year time extension to
       exercise Unclassified Conditional Use Permit Application No. 3073, which authorizes a public
       aquarium facility in the AE-20 (Exclusive Agriculture, 20-acre minimum parcel size) District. The
       parcel is located approximately 1,500 feet north of W. Herndon Avenue, immediately adjacent
       (southwest) to State Highway 99 and approximately 900 feet east of the San Joaquin River
       (SUP. DIST.: 1) (APN: 504-130-31).

       NOTE: The sole purpose of the public hearing is to address the time
             extension request.

     subject property is located on the southwest side of W. Williams Street between Anthony Street

     minimum parcel size) District. The subject property is located on the south side of E.
     International Avenue between N. Peach and N. Minnewawa Avenues, approximately 0.5 miles
     east of the city limits of the City of Fresno and approximately 1.4 miles north of the city limits of
     the City of Clovis (3493 E. International Ave.) (SUP. DIST.: 5) (APN: 580-072-26).

4.   Certify and make related findings on the SUPPLEMENTAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT
     REPORT (State Clearinghouse No. 2004081114) prepared for the project and approve
     UNCLASSIFIED CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. 3052 filed by CALAVERAS
     MATERIALS INCORPORATED to allow a sand and gravel extraction and processing facility,
     phased over a period of approximately 30 years, on 315-acres of a 457-acre site in the AL-20
     (Limited Agriculture, 20-acre minimum parcel size), O (Open Space), and RC-40 (Resource
     Conservation, 40-acre minimum parcel size) Districts. Reclamation of the site includes two
     exposed groundwater lakes with riparian habitat. The project site is located on the south side of
     E. Goodfellow Avenue, between the S. Riverbend Alignment and the Cameron Slough, adjacent
     to the Kings River to the north and approximately 1.5 miles southeast of the City of Sanger
     (SUP. DIST.: 4) (APN: 360-020-49, 360-020-50, 333-061-30, 333-061-31, 333-061-35, 333-061-
     37).

     NOTE: This item was tentatively approved by the Planning Commission at the December
     13, 2007 Planning Commission hearing. This item is for the Planning Commission to

       consider taking final action on the certification of the Supplemental Environmental
       Impact Report, including the adoption of related findings and Statement of Overriding
       Considerations, and final approval of the Unclassified Conditional Use Permit.
