THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CDC AND UNICREDIT CREDIT MANAGEMENT BANK
FACILITATES THE IT CHANNEL IN THE CREDIT RECOVERY
Safer credit management for dealers, clients of CDC, that can directly access the
services UniCredit Credit Management Bank
Pontedera (Pisa), 26 April 2010
CDC S.p.A., among the main distributors in computer products and holder
of the largest and capillary Italian network of Cash & Carry dedicated to
dealers and professional operators in the IT sector, has stipulated a
partnership agreement with UniCredit Credit Management Bank,
Bank of the UniCredit Group specialised in mandates to manage outstanding
credits, to allow dealers, clients of CDC, to access directly and with
favourable conditions, to the credit recovery services offered by the Bank,
leader in the sector.
The credit represents an increasingly strategic factor for the IT channel, in
particular in an uncertain context like the current one. Today dealers must
resort to credit to be able to acquire the products necessary for their own
business' development and, at the same time, need to grant payment
extension to clients in difficulty, with the risk of failed collections.
Stefano Zecchi,
Director AFC of CDC
Considering these requirements, CDC has decided to stipulate an agreement
with UniCredit Credit Management Bank, leading operator in the sector, to offer its dealer clients an
integrated service able to maximise the efficiency of the credit collection activity and significantly
reduce times, also benefiting of the privileged conditions reserved to CDC.
“The quality of the services issued to the IT channel is a significantly important factor, which even
becomes vital in a delicate environment like that of credit” stated Stefano Zecchi, Director AFC of
CDC. “CDC develops and proposes innovative financial services thanks to a partnership with leading
companies in the sector like Unicredit, colossus in the banking and financial world. This agreement,
which follows the recent launch of the financial marketplace reserved to the CDC dealers registered on
the site www.cdcpoint.it, is a further step towards the development of an offer full of financial services
able to guarantee our clients maximum tranquillity in a particularly critical area for the survival”.
The managerial and efficiency processes of the activities carried out by UniCredit Credit Management
Bank are evaluated every year by two international rating companies, always obtaining maximum
recognition. Standard & Poor’s recently awarded the Bank with a double “STRONG” for excellence
reached in the managing of credits, both secured and unsecured. There are only two services in the
world today that can boast maximum evaluation for both types of credit.
CDC S.p.A. (www.cdc.it) works on the Italian market for the distribution of Information Technology with a
