GENERAL EDUCATION AND MAJOR REQUIREMENTS TO GRADUATE FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF

Students are expected, in conjunction with the Department academic advisor and faculty, to select classes that support their
educational and professional goals and to complete the number of credit hours required by the University.

American Hotel and Lodging Association/Educational Institute Certifications:
         Students will earn an AH&LA certificate for each course they successfully complete with a minimum of 75% on the certification
         final exam. Students successfully completing the required courses for the Hospitality Management Specialization will earn the
         AHLA/EI Hospitality Operations Certification in addition to the individual course certificates.
