Path to Purple Articulation Agreement between Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC)
and Winona State University (WSU). The first two years provide an Associate in Science (A.S.)
Accounting degree at RCTC; the second two years provide a Bachelor in Science (B.S.) degree in
Accounting from WSU.

Admission to Winona State University (WSU) College of Business for B.S. majors and minors is required before
students may enroll in 300-400 level classes.
         1. Admission requirements include 30 or more earned credits at the time of application
         2. Cumulative GPA of 2.5
         3. Completion of the following RCTC courses with a minimum of a “C” is required:
                 *ENGL 1117                 *COMM 1114
                 *ECON 2214                 *MATH 1113 or above (excludes MATH 2208)
                 *ACCT 2217                 *BUS 2212

In addition, students will need to complete RCTC’s ENGL 1118 (4cr) or WSU ENG 112 (1cr) course before they will
be admitted into the Winona State University College of Business.
