                                     In Which Industry Sectors Are the Jobs?
Based on Bureau of Labor Statistics figures for 2005, most jobs are in the Service Sector (83%), with the Retail jobs sub-sector
making up 12% of the total. There are as many retail jobs as there are jobs in manufacturing in the county. The Professional and
Business Services sub-sector, which includes lawyers, accountants, graphic designers and computer jobs, makes up the largest service
segment (23%). The majority of the jobs in Education and Health Services sub-sector are in Healthcare. The 2005 Average Weekly
Wage in each of those areas was: Construction $1073; Manufacturing $1190; Financial $1583; Professional & Business Services
$1092; Education & Health $841; Health $861; Leisure $319; Retail $541.
