A competition will be held for staffing of the International Business Development Assistant/ Commercial
Assistant LE-05 in the Trade Section. Candidates are invited to submit their applications by mail or by fax to the
undersigned, by maximum August 05, 2010. The resume must clearly demonstrate that the requirements identified
on the statement of qualification (attached) are met. Candidates should be residents of Egypt and can legally work

Position Level: LE-05
Salary Range: Starting annual gross salary EGP 66,409

Duties
Reporting to one or more IBD Officers, provides administrative services to one or more IBD Officers.
Screening Criteria: Education, Language, Experience

Statement of Qualifications
Education: Completion of university degree


Languages: Fluency in English & Arabic (Reading, Speaking & Writing), knowledge of French is desirable.


Experience: two years experience in:
      Providing Administrative support in an office environment ( typing, data entry and research using various
       softwares).
      Interaction with public & contact management.
      Coordination of events & logistic matters.
      Typing in arabic.


Knowledge:
      Knowledge of local Egyptian business practice and environment.
      General Knowledge of Canada and its economy.
      General Knowledge of International business & climate.


Abilities
      Ability to provide administrative support services.
      Ability to research and synthesize information.
      Ability to meet deadlines
      Ability to perform translation and interpretation from Arabic to English and vice versa.
      Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships within trade team and other contacts.
      Ability to plan & organize work flow.
