Conference Guide
Dear participants, You are welcome to participate in 2007 China communication forum which is co-sponsored by CAC and ICA. The international guests including the communication academics and students come from the United States, Britain, Italy, Germany, France, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Bangladesh and Israeli, as Chinese guests including the professional scholars and students of universities and research institutions from mainland, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. At the same time, we have also invited a number of Chinese media and professional academic journals for the conference reports; there will be about 200 participants on the forum. As the organizer of this symposium, National center for radio and television studies (NCRTS) of CUC (communication university of china) firstly have to thank our guests for your participation and support. Hotel and air ticket
The conference will be held in Beijing Xinhai Jinjiang Hotel. In order to facilitate accommodation of symposium guests, we contacted many surrounding hotels on different price as your choice. The deadline for travel agency reservations is 10, August 2007. Please complete the form and send to: forumservice@cuc.edu.cn by August 10, 2007. If the foreign guests need to reserve the air ticket, please provide scanning piece of first page of your passport. Performance and tourism
We arranged for the guests to watch the Beijing Opera performance and Beijing sightseeing. 1. Beijing Opera performance Time : evening of October 22, 2007 Place : Beijing Liyuan Theater (set out from Beijing Xinhai Jinjiang Hotel ) 3 kinds of price: 1. Stage front table with refreshments: 180 RMB/Person 2．Back part of downstairs : 90 RMB/Person 3. Upstairs: 60 RMB/Person Transportation charge: 50 RMB/Person Liyuan Theater is able to accommodate 1,000 people. Artists from Beijing Opera Troupe perform the quintessence of Chinese culture -- Beijing opera and the drama performances are all carefully selected. You can sit beside the traditional Chinese table, eat Chinese snacks, drink famous Chinese tea, and appreciate Beijing Opera performance at the same time. You can see artists’ face make-up before the performance and have unexpected surprise. Theater prepares the British, Japanese, French simultaneous translation for audience. In the hall of display, you can browse Beijing Opera History, famous Beijing opera artists’ photos; moreover, you can buy the Beijing Opera costumes, mask, musical instruments, pictures and audio-visual products. 2. Tourism 1.
