Designed to prepare students for entering their schedules on the web, AND for pre-registration advising appointments, this worksheet guides students in
selecting possible courses and identifying the POE and graduation requirements met by those courses. Students are encouraged to discuss courses of interest
with Student Orientation Leaders and the academic advisor with whom they have an advising appointment on the second day of orientation. Students
should also consult the chemistry advising sheet that they will read at orientation, course descriptions on the web, POE descriptions on the web, and the
Graduation Checksheet (which can be found at http://www.juniata.edu/services/registrar/forms/gradchecksheet.dot) when completing this worksheet.
Graduation distribution requirements (F, I, S, H, N) and skills requirements are found in the division and skills boxes on the web. In looking over the course
offerings, do consider taking something totally new and different. Academic advisors will expect you to be open to their suggestions and good counsel.
FOR SUMMER 2009: Write down your first choices below, and two or three alternates. Bring this page with you to
orientation so you have it with you when you log on to the web to enter your classes; and please show it to the academic
advisor you meet with at orientation.
FALL ATHLETES: There are Biology and Chemistry morning lab sections available for varsity fall/winter athletes. Look on
the web for exact section numbers. Otherwise, try as best you can to schedule your classes before practices and travel for
