							Dear Prospective Park Baseball Player,

Thank you for your interest in trying out for the Kingwood Park Baseball Program. The
first game is right around the corner, and the coaching staff is excited about the upcoming
season.

Things you need to know:
 To tryout, you must have a physical on file at Kingwood Park High School. If
you do not have a physical on file, you may not tryout.
 Tryouts will start at 3:30 pm on Friday, January 25th. Plan on being there by
       3:15 pm.
 Tryouts will continue Saturday, January 26th at 8:00 am. Plan on being there
       by 7:45 am.
 The final day of tryouts will be Monday, January 28th at 3:30 pm. Plan on
being there by 3:15 pm. If rain is a problem, the coaching staff will make
       adjustments as needed.
 To find out if you made the team, letters will be distributed to each player
immediately after school on Tuesday, January 29th at the baseball field. Your
letter will fill you in on what is expected of you next.
 Please note: Transportation will not be provided to or from tryouts by KPHS. If
a student makes the team he is expected to be at all practices and games.
 Please be aware, grades are a major factor when we finalize teams. You can
not play if you are not eligible.
 We will fill 1 freshman, 1 JV, and 1 Varsity team. The coaching staff will decide
on the teams based on the numbers trying out. There is not a set number of spots
       available.
 Please dress appropriately when trying out. No blue jeans or sleeveless shirts.
If you have cleats, please wear them, but do not buy a new pair just to tryout.
Please wear a hat. Keep your shirts tucked in. Look the part of a baseball player,
       coaches pay attention to detail.

Thank you again for your interest in being a part of the Kingwood Park Baseball
Program. Be sure you have everything you need to have a productive tryout. Good luck
and we will see you on the 25th.
