Postgraduate Student Forum
The Chinese University of Hong Kong
21-22 January 2011
Funds are available to cover up to HK$2,000 of transportation costs and housing
for 10 participants from East Asia. Students who wish to apply for these funds
should send a budget stating the required transportation and accommodation
costs along with the abstract or panel application. Funds will be allocated by the
Conference Committee based on the quality of the paper abstract and on the
principle of bringing students from different institutions and regions.
Should the funding application be successful, participants are required to compile
all original receipts for transportation and accommodation along with a financial
statement (see example) to Postgraduate Student Forum staff before 2:00pm on 22
January (Sat). A counter will be set up to receive the financial statements and
receipts – details will be announced at the forum. NO reimbursement request will
be entertained by the Bursary if the original receipts cannot be provided.
Reimbursement will be based on the total value of submitted receipts but will
not exceed HK$2,000.
Reimbursement will take around 8-10 weeks provided that all required
supporting documents are fully submitted without any missing documents.
