GP Appraisal and Re-validation
Workshops for GPs in this Time Out will be on developments within the
appraisal and revalidation process.
Revalidation is planned to start in Autumn 2012 although the BMA still have
reservations about the readiness of some medical faculties.
Structures within primary care in the Northern Deanery are well developed
for revalidation. At this time out Dr Di Jelley (GP and clinical lead for GP
appraisal North-East PCSA and Northern Deanery) and the Gateshead
appraisers will discuss how appraisal and revalidation will work from this
