Monstarillo is a windows forms application that generates code based on a database schema. Monstarillo works with SQL Server 7-2000 and Oracle 8 – 10g. EXPERIENCE HIGHLIGHTS Independent Contractor 9/03 -present Led a of team of Northrop Grumman developers to design, develop, test, and deploy and maintain a suite of applications to assist the client (Defense Information System Agency DISA) in its mission to secure the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine computer networks. The applications are implemented using a three tier architecture written in C# against an Oracle 9i, Oracle 10g and SQL Server 200 back ends. The suite of applications included web applications, windows forms applications and windows services. Trained a team of Java developers in C# and assisted the team in architecting and development of a number of ASP.Net and Windows Forms applications using C# and Oracle 9i as a back end. Worked with a team of developers to create a windows forms application for the World Bank using C# and SQL Server 2000. The application is to be used by field agents to assist in their decision making. Designed and built a web application using C# and SQL Server to assist American Online with the management of web advertising. Genisys Consulting Inc Senior Consultant 3/03 – 9/03 Built a Checklist application for Watson Wyatt Worldwide using VB.Net and SQL Server 2000. The application was a Windows Forms application that made extensive use of a proprietary framework created by Watson Wyatt Worldwide. SAIC Senior Engineer 11/00 – 3/03 Responsibilities included designing, developing, testing, and implementing generic reusable components for use by multiple web and client server based products. Helped design, develop, and trouble shoot web based applications currently under development. Providing technical leadership and support to other developers.The web products are deployed to over 90+ web servers to provide 50,000+ workstations with quick and accurate access to the more than 70 Oracle database servers deployed around the world. US Interactive 9/00 – 11/00 Senior Application Engineer Built an intranet portal for a client using ASP, Visual Basic 6.0, SQL Server 7.0, COM, XML and XSLT. Increased the performance of some COM objects written in Visual Basic 6.0 ZonaFinanciera.com 1/00 – 11/01(Contracting from 9/00) Senior Database Developer/Web Developer Designed and built the back end infrastructure for the security section of ZonaFinanciera.com using Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server 7.0. Designed and built the stock quotes section of ZonaFinanciera.com using Cold Fusion and SQL Server 7.0. Designed and built the back end applications that update stock price information for ZonaFinanciera.com’s portfolio and stock game. Developed the coding standards for all Visual Basic applications. Visual Networks Inc. 4/96 – 10/98 Supervisor of Application Development Designed, coded and implemented a corporate wide information system using Microsoft Access and Visual Basic that brought the start up Visual Networks from 250K in annual revenues to 24 million. The information system is used for lead tracking, quoting, order tracking, maintenance renewal tracking, invoicing, revenue recognition, bookings, commissions, customer service help desk, purchasing, RMA tracking, Revenue forecasting, manufacturing and inventory control and MRP. Implemented bar coding in the manufacturing and inventory control modules of the system. MCI Telecommunications Inc. 8/94 – 4/96 Financial Systems Analyst Designed coded and implemented a new settlement system for the MCI 900 business unit. The system creates all accounting transactions for uploading into the accounting system, creates all of the necessary schedules to report MCI revenue, provides revenue estimates, revenue to credit information, and detailed analysis of 900 traffic and revenue. Cable and Wireless Communications Inc. 2/93 – 8/94 Cost/Property Accountant Designed coded and implemented a system using Microsoft Access to track and report on a $5,000,000 capital budget. Created a Microsoft Access database to automate the process of moving capitalized equipment from one site to another in the general ledger.
