“GROUP” CRUISE FARE PRICING
 WHAT IS GROUP PRICING?
Group stateroom pricing generally provides a higher stateroom category at a lower stateroom category price. For group stateroom pricing to be
effective, a minimum of five staterooms must be booked on the cruise. Allocated staterooms in the categories listed will qualify for special
group amenities if a minimum of eight staterooms is booked. Assuming the minimums are met, group rates also guarantee the cruise fare
prices and availability for all stateroom categories in the group allotment until such time as all available staterooms have been sold in the
specified categories or until time allotted for the group bookings has expired. When either of those events occurs, stateroom pricing and
availability will revert to what is available from regular inventory and at cruise fare pricing in effect at that time. If stateroom categories are
chosen that are outside of the group allotment, they will be subject to current availability and pricing at that time.

of the cruise by checking with the passenger service desk onboard the Westerdam. Page 4

BRIEF PORT DESCRIPTIONS

• FT. LAUDERDALE, FL - Fort Lauderdale lies about 30 minutes north of Miami on Florida's lower Atlantic Coast. It is about five hours from
Jacksonville, FL, and four hours from Tampa-St. Petersburg, FL. Fort Lauderdale is sometimes known as the "Venice of America"
because of its expansive and intricate canal system. In addition to its museums, beaches and nightlife, Fort Lauderdale is home to a large
indoor/outdoor flea market and the site of the world's largest drive-in movie theater. The International Swimming Hall of Fame is located
on Fort Lauderdale beach and houses a large aquatic complex as well as a museum, theater and research library.
• HALF MOON CAY - Half Moon Cay is a private island shared by Holland America, Windstar and Carnival. The island is nine and a half
miles around and has nine miles of beach (including an exquisite two-mile crescent-shaped beach), an exterior lagoon and an interior
lagoon. The Bahamas National Trust has designated part of Half Moon Cay a wild bird preserve, leaving all but 55 of the island's 2,400
acres untouched and unspoiled and creating a plentiful habitat for a variety of land and seabirds. Spend the day horseback riding or hiking
the island's nature trails through the lush broadleaf forest. Enjoy swimming, sunning and relaxing on the beach, or go scuba diving,
snorkeling or kayaking. Deep-sea fishing, parasailing and glass-bottom boat rides are available. A variety of water toys are available for
rent, including Hobie catamarans, Sunfish sailboats, windsurfing sailboards and kayaks.
• CURACAO - The simplicity of this colorful island makes it one of the most delightful ports of the Caribbean. City and island tours are
available, highlighting the island's liqueur distillery. Travelers exploring on their own will want to view the Queen Emma Floating Bridge
and visit the floating market where brightly painted schooners are laden with exotic fruits and vegetables. The island's crystalline waters
are also home to the Caribbean's largest protected underwater park, with coral reefs stretching for miles.
• BONAIRE - Sitting atop a coral reef, Bonaire is a prime location for snorkelers and divers. The adventurous traveler will be in paradise. In
addition to the underwater experiences, the island is ideal for hiking and bird-watching, with its bright pink flamingos, Amazon parrots and
    native parakeets.
• ARUBA - Aruba is an island of contrasting terrain, from its white-sand shoreline to its cactus-dotted interior. The charming Dutch island is
known for its superior snorkeling and duty-free shopping. Diving excursions include the wreck of a World War II German freighter. If you
want to stay dry, try out the new sport of sand surfing.
• CARTAGENA, COLOMBIA - Cartagena is a fascinating city, nearly surrounded by lagoons, bays and the Caribbean Sea. Almost all
excursions include a stop at the mall for jewelry shopping (the city is famous for emeralds). For those not interested in expensive jewelry,
bargaining is expected at Las Bovedas, where coffee beans and handicrafts are good buys.

                                                                                                                                       Page 10

BRIEF PORT DESCRIPTIONSCONTINUED

   • PANAMA CANAL - The Panama Canal construction begun in 1909 was both an engineering masterpiece and a natural wonder.
Connecting the Atlantic and Pacific oceans, the passageway crosses the huge, man-made Gatun Lake and the amazing Gaillard Cut,
blasted out of solid mountainside. The great locks raise and lower the ship a total of 170 feet (85 foot rise and 85 foot fall) along the 50-
mile waterway -- sometimes with just inches to spare on either side. The Panama Canal Locks, which lift ships up 25.9 m (85 ft) to the
main elevation of the Panama Canal, were one of the greatest engineering works ever to be undertaken at the time, eclipsed only by other
parts of the canal project. No other concrete construction of comparable size was undertaken until the Hoover Dam was built in the 1930s.
The locks, which have a total of six steps, limit the maximum size of ships which can transit the canal, known as Panamax. Each of these
steps has two lock chambers, doubling the amount of traffic that can be handled; together they raise ships from sea level to a height of
       25.9 m (85 ft).
   • PUERTO CALDERA, COSTA RICA - The tropical city of Puerto Caldera in the province of Puntarenas is located on Costa Rica's western
coast and is an entry point for San José. Excursions to San Jose usually include a visit to the opera house, the crafts village of Moravia
and a privately owned ranch. Some tours go past San Jose into the Poas Volcano National Park. Trips to Sarchi, known for its crafts, are
       also offered.
   • CORINTO, NICARAGUA - Corinto is a very small coastal town that is located on the northwest of Nicaragua. Even though Corinto only
has a population of approximately 20 000 and the town itself is very poor, it is also home to one of the biggest harbor ports. Puerto Corinto
is home to a few religious festivals and cultural events during the year; however most visitors are attracted to its virtually untouched
       beaches and idyllic tropical surroundings.
   • PUERTO QUETZAL, GUATEMALA - Puerto Quetzal is Guatemala's largest Pacific Ocean port. The population centers are located in the
more temperate central highlands, rather than along the tropical coasts, which are characterized by black sand beaches.
   • PUERTO CHIAPAS, MEXICO - Near the border of Guatemala on Mexico's west coast, Puerto Chiapas offers opportunities for cultural
and historic tours, as well as eco-adventures. Visitors to this port have access to Palenque, one of the Mayan world's most important
archeological sites. Those looking for adventure can try white-water rafting, horseback riding, Jeep or ATV rides or hiking through the
       surrounding jungle.
   • HUATULCO, MEXICO - This newly developed resort area is near the village of Puerto Escondido. It has nine bays with beautiful beaches
that are among the cleanest, safest and least crowded on the west coast, and big waves that are great for body surfing. Exceptional boat
trips to isolated bays and beaches are available, and there are some facilities for deep-sea fishing. The snorkeling is also excellent.
   • PUERTO VALLARTA, MEXICO - Since this port was discovered as a prime vacation spot in the 1960s, it has become home to luxury
resorts and beautiful villas. But, the city's tranquil past is still evident in its charming courtyards, cobblestone streets and markets. The
most popular excursions visit Gringo Gulch, the town square and unique cathedral. There's always shopping and horseback riding or
       relaxing on the beach.

                                                                                                                                           Page 11

of Mexico's Baja Peninsula. Glass-bottom boat rides, snorkeling excursions and deep-sea fishing trips are popular in Cabo. Or, shop at
the pier's souvenir market or relax on a beautiful beach.
• SAN DIEGO, CA - The Southern California city is approximately two hours south of Los Angeles. It is about a five-hour drive from Las
Vegas, NV, and about six hours from Phoenix and Tucson, AZ. San Diego is known for its 70 miles of coastline and San Diego Bay, which
