For example in regards of a car’s weight. With the G-POWER aerodynamic program “RS”, which
is completely fabricated from Carbon fibre, one can make the BMW M3 lighter and therefore
faster. At the same time the G-POWER “RS” Carbon parts increases the aerodynamic downforce
and thus provides for even faster cornering speeds.

G-POWER’s roots have their origin in motorsports. Already in the early eighties G-POWER tuned
BMW 02 models were competing for top position in their category. The G-POWER aerodynamic
program “RS” has been designed based on the knowledge gained from G-POWER’s motorsports
activities. The product launch has been preceded by extensive CAD engineering and intensive
test driving on road and track.

In the result G-POWER has created an aerodynamic package for the BMW M3 that contains a
front spoiler, bonnet, boot lid and a rear wing. The G-POWER aerodynamic program “RS” is
manufactured from supremely light and highly strong Carbon fibre in a gas-proof autoclave. The
G-POWER aerodynamic program “RS”, made completely of Carbon fibre, not only reduces the
vehicle weight, but also increases the aerodynamic downforce. To be specific, the Carbon front
spoiler generates more downforce on the front axle, while the Carbon fibre boot lid incl. tear-off

edge increases the downforce on the rear axle. Optionally the G-POWER Carbon boot lit can be
fitted with the factory rear wing from the BMW M3 GTS.
The starting point for the development of the G-POWER VENTURI bonnet was the technical
necessity to remove heat from the engine compartment of the uprated engines as quickly as
possible. The “DYNAMIC VENTING” Technology of the G-POWER VENTURI hood vents the
engine compartment dynamically, allowing the otherwise untapped performance potential to be
achieved with no additional thermal stress. Performance enhancement cannot be supported more

And in terms of output enhancement G-POWER can offer a broad variety of supercharger
systems for the BMW M3. Next to the newly introduced TU supercharger systems with the
performance levels SK I “Sporty Drive” TU with 520 hp, SK II “Sporty Drive” TU with 580 hp and
the SK II CS “Sporty Drive” TU version with 610 hp, the 720 hp strong G-POWER SK III “Sporty
Drive” supercharger system marks the output maximum. This configuration level of the G-POWER
supercharger system features an ASA T1-723 supercharger and a displacement enhancement
from 4.0l to 4.6l and thus achieves a massive output enhancement of 300 hp based on the
standard output of the BMW M3 of already 420 hp.

The G-Power M3 RS program was made to adhere to a simple tenet: make the car lighter and
more powerful. Sounds pretty simple, right?. Well, maybe weeks’ work. With the aero program, G-
Power opted to give the M3 the full carbon fiber treatment, instantly making the sports car lighter
and more powerful while also increasing its aerodynamic performance. And then there’s that
engine upgrade, or should we say, upgrades. Take note: the standard M3 produces 420
horsepower so that spike of 300 horsepower is enormous, to say the least.

After G-POWER has already created the world`s fastest sedan (M5 HURRICANE RR), the world’s
fastest LPG-powered car (M5 HURRICANE GS), the world’s fastest estate car (M5 HURRICANE
RS Touring), the world’s fastest 4-seated Coupé (M6 HURRICANE RR) and the world’s fastest
BMW M3, G-POWER presents with the G1 V8 HURRICANE RS a new high-speed car.

With the G1 V8 HURRICANE RS, G-POWER is making itself an early birthday present in preview
of the upcoming 30Th anniversary next year. Coming from the factory the BMW 1 M Coupé
already features the front and rear axles of its “big” brother BMW M3. The only things missing are
“just” the right engine and the nifty DCT gearbox, in order to match G-POWER’s expectations.
Consistently G-POWER went one step further than BMW and implanted the entire M3 V8 engine
including the DCT gearbox into the compact body of the 1 M Coupé. But that’s not all, in addition
G-POWER installed a supercharger system especially designed for this special edition car, that
fits into the compact engine bay of the 1 M Coupé.

Just like the basic car, the production numbers of the G1 V8 HURRICANE RS are strictly limited.
Starting next year and corresponding with G-POWER’s anniversary, a max. of 30 customers can
enjoy an automobile that guarantees pure driving fun. Of course the factory power output of 420
hp is not enough to make the G1 V8 HURRICANE RS the fastest of its class. Being the leading
manufacturer of after market supercharger systems for BMW automobiles it is no surprise that G-

POWER relied on forced induction for its power output enhancement and developed a
supercharger system based on the premium superchargers from ASA.

This output explosion is based on the heart of the G-POWER supercharger system, the new T1-
523 ASA centrifugal supercharger. For its mission with the M3 V8 engine the ASA T1-523 has
been literally been tailor-made, to provide the giant need for fresh air of the up to 8.300 rpm
revving 4.0 litre V8 engine. But the ASA supercharger, flanged to the engine using an aluminium
high-strength mount, is not the only high-tech component of the G-POWER supercharger system.
Amongst others they even did a sophisticated, computer aided simulation which analyses the
conditions of the air-ducting engine parts. The set goal of this extensive research has been to
improve the efficiency of the G-POWER supercharger system to the best possible performance.
And the result proofs G-POWER right. The supercharger system is capable of reducing the
specific fuel consumption of the engine. It houses, apart from the extensive racing air filter, a water
circulated boost cooling system with a large water-to-air intercooler located in the vehicles front,
ensuring a boost temperature that is at an output optimal level under all circumstances. 8
lightweight integral resonance induction pipes, complete the G-POWER air box that is responsible
for the perfect throttle response and optimal torque curve of the supercharged V8 engine. The
engine’s modifications made by G-POWER are topped off by a handmade, stainless steel exhaust
system that has been especially designed to fit under the 1 M Coupés compact body and at the
same time being capable of handling the extremely high flow-rate of the supercharged, high-
revving V8 engine with a minimum of backpressure.
Naturally the performance figures benefit from this huge power output improvement. Obviously a
top speed of more than 330 km/h set extreme demands on the tyres that are mounted on the 20-
inch G-POWER SILVERSTONE DIAMOND wheels. G-POWER’s technology partner Michelin
provided high-performance Pilot Super Sport tires in the dimensions 255/30 ZR 20 at the front
axle and 295/25 ZR 20 at the rear axle for this reason, making sure the G1 V8 HURRICANE RS is
always capable of bringing its brute power to the street.

Chassis-sided G-POWER has gained a lot of experience over the many high-speed cars build in
the past years. From this know-how and many joint development projects for world record cars a
technologic partnership has developed between G-POWER and Mov’it in the field of high
performance braking systems and with KW when it comes to suspensions.

Accordingly the G-POWER CLUBSPORT suspension package has been developed in close
cooperation with KW and thanks to a G-POWER setup has been adapted to the special needs of
the G1 V8 HURRICANE RS. Of course the negative acceleration is in the focus of G-POWER, as
well. The G-POWER braking system with six respectively four brake pistons bytes into mighty up
to 396 mm in diameter Ceramic-Carbon brake discs. The high performance braking system for the
G1 V8 HURRICANE RS has been exclusively designed together with Mov’it according to the
specifications of G-POWER in order to match the performance and top speed of the G1 V8
HURRICANE RS. With this set-up, the G-POWER braking system always provides maximum
brake force and the braking point remains precise in any case. In addition the G-POWER ceramic
braking system reduces the unsprung mass by 50% percent, compared to a system with steel

brake discs. Further weight is dropped by adding a bonnet made from Carbon fibre that features
the M3 design including a power dome and vent openings. The interior of the G1 V8 HURRICANE
RS, upholstered by G-POWER in premium leather and Alcantara offers impressive confirmation of
what is possible above and beyond “BMW Individual” equipment. In contrast to many leather
workshops, G-POWER takes the time to reshape the original BMW seat cushions.

as well as the G-POWER full-leather upholstery to the level illustrated.

The German tuning firm G-Power have just announced their performance package for the BMW
M3. The G-Power M3 RS conversion features both aerodynamic modifications and significant
drivetrain enhancements.

Operating on a design principle of “less is more”, G-Power’s “RS” body kit is constructed primarily
from carbon fiber, resulting in both less weight and more downforce. The new body panels include
a different front spoiler, hood, trunk lid and rear wing. Thanks to a range of different supercharger
options, G-Power can offer customers anywhere from 520 horsepower up to 720 horsepower. The
most powerful option also requires significant surgery to the engine itself, and displacement of the
M3′s V8 rises from 4.0 litres to 4.6 litres. If you want the fancy bodywork, then that will be an
additional $14,250 (10,550 EUR).

Constructed from carbon fibre, the package comprises of a front spoiler for increased downforce,
a ventilated hood, boot lid and four-point adjustable rear wing which can also be substituted for
BMW’s factory M3 GTS item. The hood and boot lid undercut the components they replace by 2.6
kg and 8.1 kg respectively.

Owners craving a performance upgrade can opt for one of the company’s new ‘Sporty Drive’ TU
supercharger kits which feature a redesigned air intake and racing filter. The entry-level SK I
option extracts 388 kW (520 hp) from the 4.0-litre V8, while the SK II package, which makes use
of the ASA T1-523 ‘charger, allows an output of 433 kW (580 hp).

G-Power Program envisions to an upgraded aero program with the BMW’s M3 RS Sports Car,
where designers have featured it with carbon fiber fabricated lighter aerodynamic shape to boost
fuel economy. G-Power has officially released the new RS aero program for the BMW M3 car just
before the turn of the year 2013. Interestingly, the main theme of the new M3 RS aero program is
to reduce the heavy curb weight of the car by replacing the usual body materials with carbon fiber.
Actually, the extensive motorsport pedigree of the G-Power is liable to develop the new G-Power
RS program, which comprises a large rear wing, a new bonnet, front spoiler, and boot lid and so
on. The new design criteria of the G-Power aids to produce higher down-force over the front side
axle, and interestingly the rear axle also acquires the same effect. It could be further increased by
a 3-piece and four times adjustable carbon fiber fabricated rear wing. Otherwise, its carbon fiber
fabricated body in a gas-proof auto-cave ensures high strength and durable service. This
innovative design technology meets the OEM automotive industrial standards, and ensures better
fittings with high quality surface structure. This G-Power program achieves weight reduction of 8.1
kg for the boot lid and 2.6 kg for the bonnet by applying this technology. At the initial stage G-
Power initiated with a venture bonnet, which was designed to remove engine generated heat
quickly. Enthusiasts say that G-Power can offer a wide variety of supercharger systems for the
upcoming BMW M3 to enhance the power output. Practically, the SK I Sporty Drive TU having 520
hp power output, SK II “Sporty Drive” TU having 580 hp output, SK II CS “Sporty Drive” TU having
610 hp output, and the G-Power SK III “Sporty Drive” TU having 610 hp power output are
mentionable as supercharger systems with increased power output. This configuration level of the
G-Power associated supercharger system gets top priority as it features a highly efficient ASA T1-
723 supercharger.
