How to Import and Export Bookmarks
Using both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox, this article will show
you how to export and import bookmarks so as to keep your bookmarks
updated in multiple locations. (eg. summer home and winter home, office
and home, etc.)
By the way, some browsers call them bookmarks, others call them
Favorites. They are the same thing.
This video shows you how to export Firefox bookmarks.
1Open Internet Explorer<
2Click the star shaped ADD TO FAVORITESbutton in the upper left hand
3Select IMPORT or EXPORT from the drop down menu
4Click NEXT in the pop up window.Click NEXT in the pop up window.
5Select either IMPORT FAVORITES or EXPORT FAVORITES
7Browse for the LOCATION TO SAVE/LOAD the bookmarks
1Open Mozilla Firefox
2Select BOOKMARKS from the toolbar at the top of the screen
3Select ORGANIZE BOOKMARKS from the drop down menu.
4Select FILE --> IMPORT -or- FILE--> EXPORT.Select FILE --> IMPORT -or-
5Browse for the location to save/load the bookmarks<
