About Allen R. Waymon, CEO
Allen R. Waymon has over 25 years experience in the sports field. He is the CEO and President of
Upstate Ballers and Ladies Ballers Inc. in Georgia, which is a nonprofit basketball program which
teaches, inspires, builds character, encourages self-confidence and ignites a desire in their players to
become better in all elements of basketball and to work as team players striving to help all teammates
succeed. Mr. Waymon referees and coaches basketball and oversees the operations of the organization.
He makes it a point to encourage social responsibility and educational values with children grades 5 and
up. Mr. Waymon emphasizes sportsmanship and being a positive member of the community. He was born
in Tryon, North Carolina and obtained his B.A. in Elementary Education and Psychology from Adams
State College. In his spare time, Mr. Waymon enjoys refereeing basketball, soccer, Lacrosse and football.
