$20.00 late fee required for all registrations received after 2/28/10.

Open to all boys and girls, ages 5 - 12. No Uniform deposits required. Every player will receive a major league
team replica jersey and hat to keep.

Tee-Ball: Designed for both 5 & 6 year olds, this is instructional only. The children learn the fundamentals of
baseball using a batting tee and “safety” baseball. Games are Monday through Friday with 1-2 games per week.

Minors: Designed for 7 & 8 year olds, the emphasis is on fundamentals with coach pitch. Games are Monday
through Friday with 1-2 games per week. Coordinator: Paul Felici 567-5742

American / National: Designed for 9 – 12 year olds.

National: This division is for those players who desire a more competitive level of baseball and requires a
significant time commitment. There are three games a week and 1 practice scheduled. Placement in the National
Division is attained through tryouts. National Division Coordinator: Steve Schiffman 374-7674.

American: This division is for children who do not compete at the National level. The American division will focus
on skill instruction with basic fundamentals being mastered. There are 2 games a week with 1 practice scheduled.
Placement is attained by evaluation. American Division Coordinator: Steve Schiffman 374-7674.


Notification of the tryout and evaluation dates will be given out at registration. All players who tried out in fall 2009
are excluded from spring 2010 tryouts.


All Star Teams: All 9-12 year old “Longmeadow Little League” players are eligible and may be selected for the
following tournaments:

        11- 12 year olds Little League All Star Team                   June 20 - July 10, 2010
        10-11 year old Little League All Star teams                    July 10 - July 20, 2010
        Traveling All Star teams (local Tournaments)                   July 10 - July24, 2010

Coaching: Anyone interested in coaching or assisting a coach should sign up during registration or check off the
box on the player registration form. If you have someone you would like to coach with, please include that on the
form.

Umpires: Anyone interested in umpiring little league games should sign up during registration. Ask any of the
coordinators for additional information. All umpires earn $18 per game and must be 13 yrs. old and up.
