Lines and Triangles: Notes
Parallel Lines: lines that never intersect
Perpendicular Lines: lines the intersect at 90 degree angles
Skew Lines: lines on two different planes that will never intersect
Acute Triangle: a triangle that is made up of all acute angles
Obtuse Triangle: a triangle that has at least one obtuse angle
Right Triangle: a triangle that has a right angle
Sum of the angles inside a triangle: 1800
To find the value of x, you add 70 and 50, which
is 120. Then subtract that from 180, which is
500 60 degrees. So angle x is 60 degrees
Scalene Triangle: 8 6 An angle that has no side lengths the same.
Isosceles Triangle: 11 11 An angle with two side lengths the same.
Equilateral Triangle: An angle with all the same side lengths.
