             Objectives

1. To present an overview of the
   Science syllabus.

2. To explain the P4 exam format.

3. To share the P4 Science Programme.

4. To provide some study tips on
   science.
            Aims of Syllabus
• Provide pupils with:
  – experiences which build on natural interest, stimulate
    curiosity in their environment

  – scientific concepts to help them understand
    themselves & the world around them

  – opportunities to develop skills, habits of mind &
    attitudes necessary for scientific inquiry

• Prepare pupils:
  – toward using scientific knowledge & methods in
    making personal decisions


• Help pupils:
  – appreciate how Science & Technology influence
    people and the environment
