ECI Polling Station Location How to get Application and Install Application on your device? 1) You have to download the application from Mobile Governance Application Store (http://apps.mgov.gov.in) on the device which has GPRS /Wi-Fi Connection by connecting through internet or on your PC/Laptop. Click to go to Live Applications. Fig: 1 Mobile Governance Application Store 2) Go to Live Application by tapping Live Application Tab on the top of the screen or by scrolling the page and click on ECI Polling Station Location icon. Click on icon to go to download page of Application. Fig: 2 Mobile Governance Application Store Live Application view 3) After downloading the application installer package (NOTE: Before installing application package makes sure that in settings -> application -> Unknown resources is checked. For more Information Check point no. - 5.b) a) On mobile device (Contains .apk), you can install it directly by clicking on the notification at the notification bar (it appears on the top of the device) directly or from the device by going to download folder of my files on the device (My files -> download) and click on the application installer to install application package on the device. b) On PC/Laptop - Connect your device (Mobile) to your PC/Laptop through data cable for copying the application installer package to the device. For installing the application on the device from PC/Laptop follow the point 4 described below. 4) For PC/Laptop downloader: a) Turn on USB Storage by clicking Turn on USB Storage button and after this copy application installer file and place this installer file in your device’s sdcard to any folder or space which is easily visible or searchable to you for installation process. Fig: 3 USB Storage Option Fig: 4 After Clicking Turn on Button b) Turn off USB Storage by clicking Turn off USB Storage button and go to that folder or to the space where you place your application installer package and click on the application installer package for installing on the device. Click ‘OK’ to turn on USB Storage of the device. Part Number and Polling Station Number : Fig: 22 Before filling Part and P.S. No. Fig: 23 After typing Any Number Part Number - This is a text field where user can enter only number up to 3 digits. It is an Intelligent Field which can generate output according to the need up to 3 digits. Intelligent Edit Text boxes accepts 1 ‘or’ 2 ‘or’ 3 digits number and populates options for input options. Fig: 24 After typing 2 digit Number Fig: 25 On typing any number, options Available Polling Station Number - This is a text field where user can enter only number up to 3 digits numbers. It is an Intelligent Field which can generate output according to the need up to 3 digits. For Auxiliary Polling Station : If Auxiliary Polling Station(Select YES and Enter Value) - if polling station is an Auxiliary polling station then user have to select ‘YES’ option to generate a edit text field where user must have to enter the postfix alphabet value (This Field accepts only Alphabets in Capital) of that auxiliary polling station number. Latitude and P.S. Longitude field, User must have to wait until this field auto-populates. 2) You haven't selected State yet, Please Select a valid State - This Alert generates, if user doesn't select any State in the State Code option. 3) You haven't selected District yet, Please select a valid District - This Alert generates, if user doesn't select any District in the District Code option. 4) You haven't selected Assembly Constituency, Please Select a valid Assembly Constituency - This Alert generates, if user doesn't select any Assembly in the State Code option. 5) You haven't entered Part Number, Please fill a valid Part Number - This alert generates, if user does not enter any number in this field. 6) You haven't fill Polling Station Number, Please fill a valid Polling Station Number - This alert generates, if user does not enter any number in this field. 7) You haven't fill Auxiliary Polling Station Code, Please fill a valid Polling Station Code - This alert generates, if user does not enter postfix code for auxiliary station in this field. 8) You have entered wrong format of Part Number, Please fill a valid Part Number - This alert generates, if user enter more than 3 digit numbers in this field. 9) You have entered wrong format of Polling Station Number, Please fill a valid Polling Station Number - This alert generates, if user enter more than 3 digit numbers in this field.
