Summary of Position Briefly summarize the primary purpose of the position

Appoints and oversees the activities of Carrying and Forwarding Agents / Distributors to ensure compliance with company’s policies relating to dispatch of stock, inventory management, and realization of payment.

Major Activities and Responsibilities Describe briefly the major activities of the position (maximum of 10). Indicate the approximate percentage of time spend on each activity.

       

Ensures statutory compliance relating to Sales Tax and issuance of C & F Forms. Ensures availability of master files, data back-up etc. Analyses stock movement to identify slow moving items. Responsible for finalization of freight rates for secondary transport. Responsible to make sure that there is timely reporting of all data / information by C&F Agents / Distributors. Settles claims arising out of obsolete / damage goods by replacement within the Company defined policy. Appoints stockists Handles tender submission to institutions and is responsible for obtaining refunds of deposits from institutions

Job Description

Experience: - Knowledge of relevant computer systems

Skills / Aptiude -Should have handled a similar role in the pharma industry -excellent cooridation and communication skills knowledge of sales tax rukes and issues mature and good interpersonal skills timeline driven and focused
