(Application Support Team)
Title: Executive (Application Support) Dept: Technology (Application Support) Reports To: Manager – Application Development & Support Direct Reports: No direct repartees Working Hours: Shifts in 24/7 work environment. Job Purpose: Application Support – Support & Implementation of developed and
packaged software Applications across Zenta.
o Performing customer problem identification and analysis to investigate and coordinate successful resolution and closure. o Work closely with DBA function to ensure availability and performance essential database services within application infrastructure o Interact with various internal IT support functions, Development, Operations and external 3rd party vendors to trouble shoot complex problems. o Ability to deploy and support 3rd party applications. o Identify recurring technical issues and provide permanent fix to those, where appropriate liaise with other support areas and 3rd parties to ensure problems are resolved within SLA. o Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Zenta’s application support initiatives.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work with diverse groups of people o Prior experience with an Indian BPO company in similar role preferred. o Technical know how Software development language/scripts. o Should be having knowledge of System Administration in Microsoft environment. o Experienced in configuration and management of ISS web server. o Knowledge MSSQL 2005 programming. Well versed with MSSQL stored procedures. o Working knowledge of .Net will be added advantage.
Qualification/ Work Experience
o Formal o Graduates with Diploma in Software development from a reputed institute. o Certifications o Certifications in Databases, Web Servers, and Development tools will be preferred. o MCSE, MCSD will be preferred. o Work Experience. o 2+ Years of experience in developed and packaged software support.
o 1.5 to 2.5 lac.
