How to connect and use Clientless VPN

The Juniper Clientless VPN client provides a way to securely connect to the
ZIM network and access all network resources from your local PC, without the
need to install a VPN client, such as Secure Remote or Secure Client.

To use the Secure Access system, please follow these steps:

  1. Connect to the Juniper Secure Access Portal

  2. Connect to Citrix Platform

  3. Accessing “My Documents”

  4. Accessing Outlook Web Access

  5. Other Applications

  6. Running your local Outlook client

Connect to the Secure Access Portal
1. Use your browser and access

http://gerssl.zim.com to connect to Mainz Germany for Amee users

http://gerssl.zim.com/corp       to connect to Mainz Germany for Corp users

http://hfassl.zim.com to connect to Haifa for Amee users

http://hfassl.zim.com/corp       to connect to Haifa for Corp users

http://orfssl.zim.com to connect to Norfolk

http://hkgssl.zim.com to connect to Hong-Kong

If you are connecting from outside ZIM network
(Home ADSL, hotel, Internet Café, etc.) you will be asked to provide your
ZIM Active Directory username\password and SecureID username\Passcode. Please
make sure you have the SecureID token and PIN code available.
* Passcode its pin code and token code as one number, (pin code 1234 and token code
123456 so passcode will 1234123456)


Click “                                   ” on the security alert (this will pop up
every time you access the site)




 You will need to install the ActiveX component (first time only):
1. Click on the Information Bar at the top of the screen and click “Install
ActiveX”
2. Click the “Install” button to install the ActiveX Control.

If you are connecting from a ZIM managed site, SecureID is not needed

Connect to Citrix platform
To connect to Citrix, simply click on Citrix Connection. The Citrix Web
Interface will start.

NOTE: If you do not have a Citrix client installed you can install the Citrix
Web-Client by clicking the following link

“Download the Citrix Presentation Server Client for 32-bit Windows”.

Accessing “My Documents”

To open your files click on “My Documents”.

The following screen will open. You can use this screen to transfer files to
or from your local computer.

Accessing Outlook Web Access
To open Outlook Web Access, click on “Outlook Web Access”.

You will be redirected to the OWA system




Other Applications
For other applications, as regular Outlook client and other allowed
applications, you need to use the "Network Connect". Run it by pressing on
“Start” Button:

After clicking the Start button, you will get the following window - do NOT
close it!




Note: For first time it will automatically install “Network Connect”


Run Outlook Client

Once you are connected, just open your Outlook client.

To be sure that you are connected, check if the status is “Connected” like on
following screen
