									SSB Interview and Training
SSB (Service Selection Board) exam or interview is conducted by the UPSC (Union Public Service
Commission) designed to access the personality and intelligence of the candidate for the
commission into the Armed Forces of India. Once the written exam is cleared the candidate is
called through the call letters for the personal interview at the allotted center.

The written exam is held twice in a year (April and August) and is the step that all have to clear
except for the Medical Corp. It is highly integrated selection process which is one of the
toughest selection processes in the world. The selection process for the SSB interview is long
and it will takes four to five days which comprises of major five steps such as:

    Screening test
    Intelligence test/Psycological test
    Group discussion
 Face to face interview and
    Conference

The main objective of SSB interview is to access the candidate’s leadership ability like
knowledge, cooperation group planning, alertness and judgement ability etc. which requires
average intelligence. Some facilities are also provided for the selected candidates such as
furnished accommodation, messing, pick and drop facility from the railway station, game,
magazines, medical facility and news paper etc. These all facilities are provided by the Service
Selection Board to the candidates.

In order to clear SSB interview and for such a designated post in Indian Army, candidates are
trained so that they can face the interview with confidence. Various options are available for
the preparation of interview such as books are available on the nearest book stall that
comprises of the last year sample papers which gives a rough idea of the exam pattern and on
the other hand several sites are available on the internet which provides online training facility
for the willing candidates. But still from online training and books one cannot prepare him/her
self properly as the basic knowledge and facts about the interview is only provided by training

To train candidates for the SSB interview, many training institutes are established which
designed their training process in such a way so that students can meet the basic requirements
of the interview. These institutes train candidates to crack the interview in first attempt with
confidence and with the help of their professional trainer and staff members, they guide
students to enhance the basic and practical knowledge so that they can handle the pressure of
the interview.

Additionally they offer consultancy service to their students in which they encourage them to
do hard work and also provide them a schedule planning table so that they can use their time
and efforts effectively to prepare themselves for such a designated position in Indian Army.

At last regular practice and hard work is the only key to success, so accept this strategy and
chase your dream to become a part of Indian Army.
