Read the following passage and then answer the question ;
Columbus was a famous Italian . In the year 1452 , when he was fourteen years old , he went to
sea in one of the ships which belonged to an Italian merchant . He visited many different places
where he saw some wonderful sights . He was an intelligent boy and he noticed that, as the
ship sailed away , the stars changed their places . He began to believe that the world
must be round . So , he decided to sail round the world. At first, no one wanted to give him a
ship as they laughed at him . But at last , the king of Spain decided to help him and gave
him three small ships . He and the sailors sailed for twenty days without finding any land .
The sailors began to be afraid because there was not much food in the ships . They wanted
