21. RACE DIRECTOR NOTES

 RPR is nestled in the foothills outside of Austin and features miles of trails
and a beautiful lake at the main event site. The venue has some great rolling
terrain with a mixture of smooth running trails, rocky outcroppings, and of
course we'll get some bush whacking in. A nice stream runs through the
property along with several small ponds which we'll visit several times
      during the run.

It's likely to be very hot during the event so make sure you hydrate prior to
the event. We will have one aid station approximately half way through the
      four plus miles.

You will also want to keep your eyes on the trail in front of you as there is a
large variety of snakes in the area. The Texas A&M Herpetology Department
has their annual field trip to RPR so be alert!

22. PHOTOS BY NUVISION ACTION IMAGE

 Photos will be available about a week after the event, provided by Nuvision
Action Image photography. The link to the photos will be on our Facebook
page, emailed to each participant, or you can go directly to the Nuvision
      Action Image

Troops, a charity dedicated to providing specialty homes for troops that have
been severely injured in the line of duty.
 Spartan Race has made it its goal to raise enough money to help contribute to
building a specialty home for a deserving troop!
