                                                          Men’s Soccer
INTEREST MEETING:                                July 24, 2012, 7:30 p.m., CN 117 (Annandale Campus)

DATES:                                           Wednesday, August 1 (6-9 p.m.)
                                                 Thursday, August 2 (6:30-9 p.m.)
                                                 Friday, August 3 (6:30-9 p.m.)

LOCATION:                                        NOVA Annandale Campus
                                                 8333 Little River Turnpike
                                                 Annandale, VA

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
Please be on time and come properly dressed and ready for the tryout/workout! Also, please be sure to bring a water
bottle. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A CURRENT (SUMMER) PARKING DECAL YOU MUST PARK IN THE
VISITORS PARKING GARAGE OR YOU WILL GET A $75 PARKING TICKET.

Team practices are tentatively scheduled in the evenings Monday-Friday. Please make sure your class schedule is
complete by 2 p.m. if you make the team. NOVA Soccer is working to secure a centralized field for practices in
Fairfax County.

Participation is limited to students at Northern Virginia Community College (NOVA). Students are required to
be enrolled full-time (12 or more credit hours) in the Fall term. New students (no previous college enrollment)
are immediately eligible for participation. Currently enrolled NOVA students and students with previous
college credits students must have a cumulative 2.0 GPA to be eligible and meet other eligibility requirements
(see links below). There are additional eligibility requirements for second season participants and transfer
students.

If you have not done so, please complete the online interest form prior to attending the tryout.

Students must pass a physical examination administered by a qualified health care professional
licensed to administer physical examinations prior to the tryout and must bring completed
physical form to tryout prior to any participation (NOVA does not cover this expense). The
exam must have been completed on or after July 1, 2012.
