and Discoverer reports in Oracle. Collaborated with IT programmers to automate invoicing and backlog projections,

and other irregularities. Attracted customers who knew they could trust the company and not risk losing their money.
Established dual currency invoicing and collection, reducing risk to Cellstar accounts receivable portfolio.
Currency devaluation in 1994 demonstrated risk to accounts receivable portfolio being un-hedged and invoiced in pesos.
Determined it was legal to invoice with payment in dollars as an option. Implemented dual invoicing and collection in
both dollars and pesos for telephones and prepaid phone cards. Set up aging in both currencies.
Oversaw three credit systems upgrades at Cellstar, providing smooth transitions and continuing operations.
Company upgraded computer systems three times in ten years. Installed initial Platinum computer system that served well
for five years. Switched to Solomon successfully and eventually to a newer version. Maintained manual system as backup
to compare results and find errors in the system. Fixed all bugs and perfected the upgrades.
Virtually eliminated write-offs for Commercial Metals Company (CMC) and grew revenues annually. Predecessor
had been spread too thin and neglected to hire appropriate staff. Documented all activities needed to be performed to grow
revenues and manpower needed to achieve goals. Hired two credit analysts. Improved operations and results. Grew
revenue from $160M in 2002 to $600M in 2006.
